belikerick Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 LIKE NEW! Beautiful 2003 Monaco Elite Mahogany. Barely played, no pick scratches or swirls on front of guitar. Thought it was mint but found a couple really tiny dings in back finish that I could only see when looking at certain angle in the light. This guitar has spent most of it's time in the case in my non-smoking home. Went on a Hamer binge a few years ago when I bought this but have too many guitars and not enough time to play them all. My Studio FM has become by favorite (for now) and I hardly have time to play it. SD Custom neck SD Custom Custom bridge Non Hamer HSC other specs per Hamer website: Body Type: Solid Honduras Mahogany Top: Arched Tuners: Chrome Grover Electronics: 2-Vol, Master Tone, 3-way switch Bridge: Tune-O-Matic Inlays: Mother of Pearl Cap: Chevroned Mahogany Neck Joint: Dovetail Joint Scale Length: 24 3/4 what looks like a mark in the finish on the back is actually a tiny knot in the wood that you can see below. Will ship by FedEx or UPS ground to the lower 48 states. If you want to use Paypal, buyer will pay 1/2 the fee. Will take personal checks, but will not ship until check clears.
Feynman Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 I had myself all convinced I don't like Monaco Elites, but man, that's a great color for that guitar.

Punkavenger Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 Love to pair that up w/ my vintage orange Special... Can I pay you next summer? Come on, Guys! incredible guitar! vintage orange is really cool
belikerick Posted October 13, 2007 Author Posted October 13, 2007 Yeah, I DO love that Vintage Orange on mahogany, it's just a great looking finish. This guitar is great, but since I have too many to start with AND I just acquired a yummy Savage Macht12 that I need to reciprocate some funds for I hope someone finds it appealing here.
Jakeboy Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 Longtime lurker here...I want a Hamer & love the color...how much does it weigh? Thanks!Mark
belikerick Posted November 20, 2007 Author Posted November 20, 2007 Longtime lurker here...I want a Hamer & love the color...how much does it weigh? Thanks!Mark according to the bathroom scale, which only works in 1/2 pound increments, it is 8.5 pounds of Mahogany goodness.
sidehatch Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 I really wish I saw this last week. I paid twice that for a new prs that I do love but this guitar would have fit the bill and I'd have $900 in the bank. good luck with the sale
Siaip Ciuvas Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 I have exactly the same model. Put WB's Custom wond pups, and EVERY session guitarist which have heard it, was stunned. Maybe it doesn't look fancy-shmancy (no binding, no blocks/crowns) but for 900$ you will have lots of fun watchin your friends with LP's running away with tails under and whining like pussies
atquinn Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 Given that the seller's last post was in 2007, I'm guessing this is already sold? -Austin

Don't know what you're looking at but I just posted something yesterday and...YES IT'S STILL FOR SALE!! haven't bumped it because of economic conditions and the fact I don't mind not selling it for now (too many guitars, but it's getting down to the nitty gritty ) and also figured if someone wanted one they would do a search JUST IN CASE there may be one lurking out there.
specialk Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 Great looking guitar! And I like the case that comes with it. Unusual, at least to me. Gotta... resist... temptation....

rooster69f Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 I freakin' HATE you guys! Every time I say "I can't buy anything more" you show me this stuff. I have a Monaco Elite, it is one of the absolute finest guitars ever made, IMHO. I certainly DON'T need another! But DAMN... this one would make a nice "brother" for my FlameTop!
