  1. Maybe @mirrorimij can comment.
  2. All in the pursuit of “the brown sound” !
  3. Hey man! No Neil = No Rush! They should rename the band Bush (or Tush). JK: Anybody got a spare ticket?
  4. Headstock = Dan Armstrong-ish You’ll be busy trying to keep that sucker in tune.
  5. Tony Senatore strikes again https://www.12stringbass.net/tony-senatore-holyland
  6. The Kahler: ‘twas good enough for Glenn …. ’nuff said!
  7. I always wondered what the SD Trembucker sounded like. Enjoy!
  8. @santellavision have you played through a Snorkler? https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Snorkler50--bogner-snorkler-50-50-watt-tube-amplifier-head-black-levant-tolex-with-gold-faceplate?_queryID=ff167b14364b89b9560f48755f47d830&_index=production_products Was also impressed with the tones this guy got out of a Zuta rack unit but the video is play-synced to the tracks he laid down, though he does play real time late in the video. He’s got some nice guitars a whips on an 8 string at @ 20:00 in. The amp is a bit more sophisticated than I need but for a blues rock guy like me, his technique is fun to watch and hear. I’ve never heard EL-84s sound like this.
  9. I understand that most of the thread responses pertain to attenuators for higher wattage (50+) applications. I’m looking for something (less expensive) for amps of 20 watts or less, looked at the Dr.Z Air Brake, also looking at the Swart Night Light, which is $100- less than the Dr. Z. Anyone have experience with the Swart? Surprised there’s no YouTube on this unit. https://swartamps.com/night_light_attenuator.htm
  10. Anyone have any experience with the JTM45 Reissue that was produced during the early 2000’s? Would seem to check many boxes 2x 5881 3 x 12AX7 GZ34 recto 4 inputs 30 watts output I realize that it’s not PTP, but
  11. Yes — thank you. I don’t understand why the thread title search including the word ‘Bogner’ didn’t find it. Thanks again, and thanks also to @santellavision for the manifesto on Bogner.
  12. I was trying to locate a thread someone posted a year or so back that gave detailed descriptions of the Bogner amps they’d been through over the years. I suppose it’s possible that the thread was deleted, but Any clues would be appreciated.TIA
  13. Robin Rawhide Thinline, anyone? https://reverb.com/item/92167551-2007-robin-rawhide-rio-grande-pickups-great-player-241
  14. @Dave Scepter nice axes, is the blue flamer a Charvel? I’ve not seen that headstock shape previously.
  15. Paging @diablo175 I’m not particularly a PRS fan (or hater), and while it looks a bit like a ‘90’s Ibanez, it is a fairly progressive design break for PRS.
  16. The paint in the control compartment looks pretty frickin’ red. The contrast between the neck and body is distinct in the lower photo.
  17. @geoff_hartwell Why place the head beneath the cabinet— because the cab tilted back? That’s what HD Velcro is for!
  18. Weird coincidence, I just listened to DATD “In Concert” last week — it’s a good performance by BW, and Clapton was still playing hard. I thought BW had already passed (and I checked) but at the time he hadn’t, I knew that Jim Gordon (super sad story) and Carl Radle were already gone. Once again (as with ‘The Cream’) Clapton is the last man standing!
  19. Dang, you could hide a pound of sweet ganja in that control compartment.
  20. Nice V, is that the edge of your new G&G case on the right ?
