We've been patient, but finally got things going with our supplier on the HFC picks. I'll post the final details here tonight, but we're rolling on these starting NOW. We have several sizes, shapes, colors and pick material available, but all have that same great HFC logo. We'll be offering in packages of 10, and unlike the demo shown below (mixed bag, and there actually aren't 10 picks in that photo), each package will be the same color/gauge and will be $6.50 each for 351 shapes, $7.00 each for the 346. This will include regular USPS to US destinations. Orders out of the US will be higher, price depends on location. Off the top of my head (I'll correct if mistaken later), we will be offering: Celluloid: 351 (standard shape) Medium - White and Black Heavy - Yellow and Purple Pearloid 346 (rounded triangle) Medium - Tortoiseshell Heavy - Black Tortex: 351 (standard shape) Medium - Black Heavy - Green I am also placing an order in the next week for Extra Heavy in either Tortex or Celluloid, depending on which version people want more. I can also do a run of Thin gauge if there's sufficient demand, but when we did the initial polling last year, nobody wanted those so they missed the initial cut. Update: We are discussing in greater detail tomorrow, but it looks like we are going to have an event on Friday afternoon/evening and the jam will be on that Saturday night. We have put a deposit down on the venue. More details as I get them...

Ditto here. In fact, I believe I actually caught most, if not all of that on video and/or 35mm! I believe Mr. Stonge offered me a tidy sum to destroy the evidence at one time or another...

I've seen them a few times, and they definitely deliver. Not what I was expecting going in to the show. They really made Dave Grohl and the Foo work hard as a headliner!

Believe it or not, they've sold at between $800 and $1k recently. They first hit the streets in '99 though, not '98, not that that matters.

I've never seen another one (that I can recall) in that vintagey-59 burst. I have seen two in a dark, 2 tone Tobacco/Sienna Burst and one in an Amber-ish burst. Pretty much all the others have been Koa, Vintage Natural, Kool Blue, Red Trans, with the oddball Salmon Blush and Black every now and then. Definitely not a lot out there in sunbursts.

Almost never see those in bursts, and that's a gorgeous hunk of maple on there. Nice.

Be careful. You'll want to buy a PRS...

GREAT call! I've seen this kid live, and was totally blown away. If you can believe that LIVE, he's 50X better than the CD, he is, if that isn't an understatement. A good friend has been bugging me to see Davy for over a year now, and I finally saw him a couple of months ago. Wow. Got to chat with him afterwards, and he seems really grounded. Actually remembered my friend's name and where he saw them - last September. Seriously. Go see this guy play.
