  14. Disturber "I think that nines work better on 25,5 guitars, and tens on the 24-3/4 scale fiddles. But it's like pickup and magnets really, some guitars seem to work best with nines . " I do the same but its more about how the strings feel bending Bennyboy-UK I've not tried the unicorn piss !
  15. was wondering what string & tunings everone is using these days , brand/type of strings ?different gauges for drop tuning keys &/or open tunings? scale lengths ? styles of music ? 21. its always helpful to be in the right frame of mind when attempting to be creative. lol
  22. my most expensive gtr ? could be either , my 1960 lp tv or, my 1932 national duolian. but I dont really know what price they might bring . the most Ive spent on gtrs was $3200 but that was for 2 gtrs, a 95 50th fender ann strat #196 of 2500 & 95 prs McCarty. Bought both at the same store the same day (tax incl). Both gtrs were brand new namm show gtrs with a very small scratch on the bottom bout by the jack. I still use both as my live gtrs & really love both of them. edited to say: other than that I have never spent more than 1300 on any gtr ( I have however spent more than 1300 on the 2 amps I use.)
  23. i need nothing but thank you as the world needs more of this type of behavior
