I had a Rotosphere years back, sounded great

I do solo gigs at wine bars and restaurants, jazzy stuff w/ a looper and a few vocal tunes. Larger rooms and patios I use a Behringer powered mixer and an EV loaded 1x12 guitar cab up on a pole. Smaller rooms I've started using this tiny Fender Acoustisonic 40 combo, it sounds full and has nice reverb.

That's kickass. I had a 2 pup white 70s SG back in the day.

Volume, tone, and sustainer drive. Might rewire it 2 vol no tone, I wanna do the Ace toggle stutter, ha

Did some horse trading yesterday and ended up with this beauty. I was gonna trade if the sustainer worked, I wasn't expecting this to play and sound so fantastic. Even the neck sustainer pup rings like a bell. This is a better guitar than all the Gibsons and most of the Hamers I've owned, even the custom shop 359 i had after mom died. Lots dings and bumps, no case. Not sure of the age, no serial number on a lot of 80s Burnys. I'm not a LP guy, but this thing is great and only 8.4 lbs.

Fishbone is a combo of funk/ska/punk/hard rock. Same w/ Sublime. 80s era King Crimson obviously has a prog rock pedigree, but they also had a song based focus that leaned into new wave.

My old Duotone did that, it was a mighty wind focused thru the 3 holes. Wow that sounded dirty...

Soundgarden is in my top 5 rock bands. Chris Cornell was the greatest rock singer & songwriter of my generation.

I like the look of those new ones. I had one of these older ones like Jim85, it was fun and good for the money but ultimately uninspiring. My Ibby Q52 retails for 5x the $200 ones, but really feels great, rings like a bell, and doesn't have the awkward tailpiece. The original Ibby alnicos sounded good, but I prefer the DiMarzios I put in.
