  1. At least he didn't phuck up the outro by singing over it like Dio always did
  2. Cool, I played bass clarinet thru 9th grade
  3. Ahh, this is sad news. Jay kept in touch w/ me thru Facebook, occasionally sending me funny shit or cool tune links. He will be missed.
  4. Seen as high as a girrafe's ass here; Sly & Santana's sets were the high points of Woodstock;
  5. Nice. You should get a creme P90 cover.
  6. I love that, and your others too, beautiful.
  7. He's awesome, and so much fun. He's ventured into fusion territory on some tunes; I dig some of his vocal tunes;
  8. I forgot about this tune! I had all the MSG records up until that McCauley dude joined. I love the early 80s pre hair band metal, I made this playlist years ago;
  9. Whatup Jack!
  10. Looks like Zakk & BLS were booked on the wrong cruise. Looks like fun tho.
  11. Sold my Hamers, but not smart enough to move on. Plus, you ever been on an Ibanez forum? 🤨
  12. Just heard this morning he is going to be on the local news Wednesday 6am to talk about why he moved here. Wish I could call in! Anyway, the Zep movie was very cool, maybe a little long. While I personally think Zep is maybe the greatest of all time, I am reminded that I find a lot of Plants live adlibs (oh baby, cmon cmon) tiresome. Im nitpicking, his studio work is sublime.
  13. I had a Bandmaster and a Traynor 4x12 in the early 90s, great rig!
  14. I forgot to tell this story! Bought tix for the movie back in March IIRC. Reserved seats, the whole theater was shown as empty online, so I buy 2 right smack in the middle, perfect seats. We get there, empty except for 2 people right in the middle. Walk to our seats, they are in the seats right next to ours. I sit down and glance at the dude; its DEE SNIDER! Dee was rumored to have moved to our area last year. I sit there mildly freaking out, trying to convince myself not to bother him. I can't help it, after a few minutes I ask him "did you just move to Oak Ridge?". He stands up immediately and says to the woman next to him "there's no need to sit on top of each other in this empty theater" and they move to the end of the isle. I say "sorry" as they shuffle by. Jeeze.
  15. Well put, sir. Can't wait to see this flick. PS - nice COC avatar!
  16. Fantastic show in Durham NC! Vai did a great job playing Fripps parts, and inserting his own licks/solos in a few spots, masterful. Belew sang great and did his cool noisy licks. Levin & Carey were fantastic. Good sound, too (might could have been a tad brighter, maybe it was our seats). I grew up listening to this era of KC, it was a thrill to see this show. The only non Discipline/Beat/Three Of A Perfect Pair tune they did was Red (I'm not a fan of other eras of KC, but I was Hoping to hear Starless & Epitaph). "I WISH YOU WERE HERE TO SEE IT"!!!
