Looks about 1979 with the RD bass and the brand new looking Silverburst LP. I saw this band opening for Cheap Trick in Cincinnati September 1979.

Liked the Daytona neck so much I put one with this 1979-80 Mighty Mite body.

Only owned one real Strat, a 1975 but that was 1979 and only had it about 6 months. Never a fan and never wanted another. Then I lucked into a Daytona about 15 years ago. Love my Daytona. It is just a solid guitar.

Played this in Chicago for a song. Felt thinner than a LP and wider. Sounded great in memory but it was only one song and it was only 3 minutes long. Diablo175 on my left. He was having a good time on that one. 😎👍🏁 😈

Never a huge fan respect what he did absolutely. I always thought it was funny, He got together with Steven Tyler on Aerosmith’s Rocks album to record tambourine’s taped to cowboy boots on a block of wood. You can hear that on Back In The Saddle and then Steven stole his wife. 😮🫣 Rest well.
