  1. Anyone know anything about "Supagroup"? Someone (I think Turdus) posted an MP3 from them a couple years ago and I still have it saved on my computer. Great tune. Just wondering if anyone bought the album.
  2. drivin n cryin is one of my all-time favorite bands. They never really made it. Gruntruck was a good heavy band out Seattle that never went anywhere.
  3. No. You should have known that blended heels are this year's P90 Duotones. You're no better than that meddling Woodpile.
  4. Here's Phoenix's Elite. Is this what you're looking to do? Edit - here's the Superpro, too:
  5. Are you serious? Carr was terrible. What's with hitting a rack tom every time he hit the damn snare? Terrible. "I Love It Loud" was his "When the Levee Breaks." Everything else? Crap. Oh yeah, I'm serious. Sure the "hitting a tom and snare together" thing is annoying (friggin Kenny Jones did that on his first single with the Who) but Carr rocked. When I was a teenager I used to watch my VHS copy of MTV's "Animalize Live" concert all the time becasue of Carr. He was really good. Plus, he's dead and what's the point in bashing someone who hasn't posted in years and isn't here to defend himself?
  6. I have an old Ibanez superstrat with a DD in the bridge spot. It's currently set up with a Warmoth baritone conversion neck but I've also used it with the regular 25 1/2 neck. In this guitar the pickup is really bright and doesn't seem to have a lot of body. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I had a tech assemble a new pickguard and the way he set it up, the tone control doesn't affect the bridge pickup (like on a Strat). Maybe the fact that it's not running through a tone pot is the problem.
  7. I knew Greg was a HUGE fan of sustain blocks, but is that a DNA puddle on this one?
  8. Can't wait to see this one. To quote Flounder: http://www.acmewebpages.com/midi/great.wav
  9. Even worse - some people actually like to LISTEN to Dream Theater.
  10. Not to change the subject, but Poe's diet really has been remarkable. This doesn't even bother me like it used to:
  11. Man, don't go to that kind of trouble for us. You should know that this group of shitheads (self included) is not worth that kind of effort. Who really cares how many posts we've made over the years anyway?
  12. This thread is one of the most bizarre things I have ever read. Doesn't the new board have an archive feature? If so, we're saving this for posterity, right?
