  1. bravo and amenUnless, of course, there's a Cat5 hurricane barreling toward shore.Yes... I WAS happy to be leaving New Orleans on August 27th, 2005. But this is the exception that proves the rule - lol.
  2. I'll take that as the party just went to the next level. ;)sdThere are only a few genuinly...genuine people in this world who make every experience that much more enjoyable, that much more memorable. REE-shard is one of them. I was already psyched to be able to hang with The Muse, one of my dearest, closest friends, for the weekend. Now a second will show up. Honestly, I could care less about the guitars and the music. For me it's all about seeing (now two) guys who I haven't seen in way too long. I saw Muse last year at this event - already far too long. The last time I saw Jeff was Jazzfest '09 in New Orleans. FAR too long, and way too hung over as I waited at the gate for my flight to head home. Truly one of the saddest places to be: leaving NOLA for anywhere else, let me tell you... I guess that's my long-winded way of saying, "Yes, you're right."
  3. Sure, if you can find something that beats THAT paper lol.
  4. Guess I'll just have to bring cash then. Ba-ZING!
  5. I got a smartphone with the PayPal app bitches...
  6. I'm with you on that. Didn't say I liked it, just that I hadn't seen it lol.
  7. Yeah, with the strings anchored through the back of the body. I don't recall ever seeing that on a Standard. Pretty cool.
  8. Really channeling his inner Carlos Santana on that first tune with Sheila E. isn't he?Edited to add; You'll have to decide for yourself if that's a good thing Well, it's a good thing when Prince does it. Yes. Epic is the word. Every time I see a Prince clip (I've never had the pleasure of seeing him live), I watch it knowing full well that he is a supreme badass, and he still makes me say "Wow." As if I'm surprised at how much of a full on bad ass rock star stud he is. He's THAT good.
  9. WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT?! Vartevar Sarkissian 33 seconds ago
  10. Not everyone can have Flawless Technique™. And more people will remember John Mayer than Steve Stevens.OH to the SNAP!
  11. Why? How do YOU do it? Don't tell me you wear a shirt!
  12. It's a unique guitar (even though there are two of them) with a unique sound. I honestly regret selling it.
  13. Maybe not "one-of-a-kind" but they're all either highly-optioned or first-of-a-kind. 2006 Monaco III: Jazzburst, Loolars, tort binding, and arched back. The 2004 NAMM Korina Vector. You know what it is. The Aceburst (when it still had a Sustain Block). Not one-of-a-kind, but quite righteous. 2004 Korina Standard Custom The first chambered Standard. "The Butcher" 2004 Korina Special: Sustain Block, PhatKats, ebony board, inlay delete, chambered body, spruce top.
  14. lol! That's exactly the way I feel about it!
  15. I've said it before (albeit, not here) and I'll say it again...Achieving one's "dream" can be very disappointing. Also settling for less than exaclty what you want can be disappointing as well. Then I would argue that the dream has not yet been realized.

  17. You should custom order a Standard with those pickups. I'm thinking spruce top. LOL! Like someone would order something like that... Come on, Muse. Stop it. No, I ended up snatching one of these off of craigslist...
  18. Must be why it's now private. Only the privileged can experience its shittiness. And to think I was lucky enough to have seen it.
  19. Wow... What a worthless piece of video. What is that? The Tom Tom Cam? But at least the audio sucks.
  20. What the hell, Poe's Ass has been banned? That is just wrong.I retired it. By unpopular demand.
