I saw that a few days ago. I was thinking Ed had the wrong guitar, but then he should have been able to work around being a 1/2 step off, but he didn't so who knows? If it was a "pre-recorded" playback issue, it should be noted that the bass lines were in perfect tune with the keyboard.....is Wolfy really playing? Yikes! Having said all that, some of the other clips I've seen looked pretty smokin', wish I could have gone when they hit Chicago. Mark.

It's been there forever... and at Northbrook before that. I played it maybe a year and a half ago at NB. Seemed fine back then, cool color but not for everyone. They gotta be ready to move it...somebody go hit it! M.

Serial's overview looks pretty good to me... on average. But don't knock em' till you try em'. I have an '80 with a "D" shape that feels a bit meaty and a '79 that is a little smaller at the nut but warms up as you move down. The '79 by the way is a touch heavier but rings like a bell and is harmonic city... so much for the light weight = tone camp too. Just gotta try each one, they are all different! And that's half the fun! Mark.

Yup, ours too. When I met my wife in the late 80's I had cars squirreled away all over the place. I got out of that that when the sportscar market went through the roof, and started collecting pinball machines.... So she knew what she was getting into right up front LOL! About 6 months ago I wanted to buy this old scruffy Marshall 4x12 straight cab to complete my 77 stack, I was a little short at the time, she loaned me the cash. I think I picked the right gal... And for some reason the little software routine that cycles the photos seems to crash my AOL. So when ever I happen to click on one of the "Insturment Exchange" auctions I have to hit the go back button before the anamation starts and I get booted off line. Nice. As far as pricing goes, it seems to me ALL the used stuff at GC is priced super high, I guess it gives them room to deal, but in most cases they would have to knock so much off, I usually don't even bother asking. I hate GC, Support your local small dealer, so he will be there to help you in the future. Mark.
