  1. Loved JsA back in the day. Just so different from the Aqua Net crowd. One of the best rhythm sections of all time. PF has always been a prima donna. A damned shame, really... 😞
  2. Nothing wrong with AH. I really like the mid '90s instruments Hamer USA were cranking out then.
  3. I have a dozen picks that I'll never use & i hate to toss anything away. Mostly on the medium side. If anyone in CONUS wants them, just pm me & I'll send them to you.
  4. It's a SS amp with a storied name & premium price. There are cheaper options that sound just as good.
  5. 2001. Very nice. Not crazy about the LTs, but it's nice for the price.
  6. I had a blue Daytona 2 decades ago. Couldn't bond with it. Too modern, for lack of a better term. Much prefer a more vintage S-style.
  7. I had a Korina Artist P90 bought from burningyen, if I'm not mistaken. Could be wrong. That was a long time ago. It didn't speak to me, so off it went.
  8. Never been a huge LP or SG fan. I recently bought a '95 Studio & it just does it for me. Belly/double cut. I did swap out the JB. The fit & finish is far superior to the average Gibby & it was cheaper. Win, win... πŸ˜€
  9. An amazing bandleader, musician & songwriter. My favorite clip of S&TFS is around Christmas of '68. They were on the Sullivan show & they were just fantastic! Sly's interplay with the audience was great to behold. R.I.P. 😞
  10. Thieves should be drawn & quartered... 😑
  11. Looks like a hs Crack to me. 😞
  12. Peavey USA made excellent gear. A lot of guitar for $750. Criminally underrated. 😞
  13. I thought about that particular guitar, but I wanted a carved top. Congrats! πŸ˜€
  14. I've certainly heard of her. Very good musician. Far better than the majority of her " critics "... πŸ™„
  15. Update: I swapped the JB for the HB that I've had stashed forever. Of course it was out of phase in the middle position with the stock '59. Just my luck. But, just playing with the volume knobs I got some very nice tones that might not be available if the pups were in parallel. Not saying I'll keep them OOP, but right at this minute, I'm kinda diggin' it... 😎
  16. I was just wondering if anyone had a Seymour Duncan '59 bridge HB pickup for sale??? Zebra bobbins preferred. Regular spacing. Thanks 😊
  17. " Enough bubble to wrap a car... " πŸ˜‚
  18. They are controversial in the guitar world. EVH thought they were the best thing since sliced bread. Tomo Fujita, the great guitarist & teacher, absolutely despises them.
  19. Thank you for your very informative post. My retort would have to be, is my '59 included in that 99% ???
  20. Only one problem, the pup I have on hand is single wire/braided.
