I have a Studio coming & while I like the '59 neck, I cannot abide the JB. It will have to go. My ? Is, can/has anyone ever mixed a different brand HB with a Duncan??? I know that SD & Fenders don't always play well together, but those were single coils. Are HBs different??? Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I sold a great Studio during the thing that shan't be mentioned & I've regretted it ever since. Was just looking to see what's out there??? There's been a couple of good ones on here lately. I'm not really crazy about a lot of bling on a guitar. Just like a good, solid, toneful instrument. 😀

I have a guitar that has one dogear P90 in the bridge. It's quite far from the strings. Being that it isn't height adjustable, has anyone used a shim for raising the pup & what were the results ??? Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 😀

Reading the first few chapters,i did notice a typo. It states that Delaney Bramlett played an original Explorer in Leon Russell's band. The guitarist in question,was actually Don Preston.

There is a guitar on Ebay that the seller describes as a Hamer Eclipse Slammer series. I'm not that familiar with this. I didn't know that these existed. I thought that the Eclipse was a USA guitar only. Anyone familiar with this model? Are they worth a try?
