  1. To continue the trem search, I just bought one of these. (I'll get it in a few days) I think this may be my solution to putting a temp trem on a stop-tail guitar. The Tonequest Report did a great review of it. Vibramate
  2. Enjoy it!!! Happy Birthday!
  3. I hadn't heard of these. What was supposedly so special about them?
  4. I sold that one (A Japanese pressing) for over $100. I love that CD. Jimi is freakin' on fire on the opening cut Johnny B. Goode. Still gives me chills.
  5. Maybe not the dumbest, but, I think I paid 70-80 bucks for some Beatles bootlegs in Japan. I've probably got about 100 Beatles CD's. Now with the new digital remasters, in the famous words of Tommy Lee Jones from 'Men in Black', "Guess I'll have to buy the White Album again". On the other side... I did sell off my MSFL CD's right after they closed shop (Since reopened) But, I got a ton for those on ebay. A couple went for over $100.
  6. Just my cover band stuff.
  7. I just found this. Worth a try for $59. Bowen Handle
  8. What concerns me is that everyone who's selling them have only barely used them. That's not a good sign. I really want a trem for my LP, but I don't want to buy one and hate it.
  9. Anyone use a Stest trem? Opinions? http://stetsbar.com/
  10. Tommy Bolin & Steve Howe for me.
  11. Anyone can make their own Mousepads, T-shirts, hats etc at cafepress.com I use it all the time for stuff.
  12. Besides guitars, Fender has Relic'd amps too.
  13. I was just kiddin'. Works of art shouldn't be messed with.
  14. I was just thinking of Relic'ing my Huber. It just looks... too new. What do you guys think? Just kidding!
  15. Mine read Neck-7.85 Bridge-12.03 But, as Greg would say, readings aren't everything, especially with these as they are wound for a specific tone.
  16. That is the story of the 60's hit "Spirit in the Sky" by Norman Greenbaum. They trashed a speaker along with using a fuzz box to get that extra ratty tone. I LOVE that tone!
  17. More Birthday wishes from Colorado too! Have fun at NAMM!
  18. Not to scare anyone off (And no, I'm not bidding on it) but he only has two Ebay sales on his feedback. All the others he was the buyer. Hmmmm?
  19. I don't think the guy knows much about guitars. When I emailed him about the weight, he said it's very heavy. Then posts that it's 8.8lbs. That's light weight for a solid Mahogany guitar, especially a Standard! I was thinking the thing was an 11lb boat-anchor. Not exactly a good sales pitch. See you all here tomorrow, same time, same bat channel!
  20. I asked him too, just for fun. No answer. Sellers like this scare me. Just be honest.
  21. I would guess $1,100-1,200. with no original case.
  22. The DGT is spectacular. I've owned over a dozen PRS's and the DGT is the best one yet. FYI, I may be unloading my DGT (Unemployment issues) Keep an eye on the 'For Sale' section in the near future!
