  1. SOLD!! 2013 Axl Bulldog. Red, All Mahogany, set-neck. Near-mint condition. 9.8 Condition. One tiny mark at the the tip of the lower horn, otherwise perfect. I’m the original owner. Lindy Fralin dog-ear P-90, TonePros Featherweight wraparound bridge, CTS pots, Orange Drop Capacitor and TonePros Kluson vintage-style tuners. Also has a "Bite Switch," a push-pull pot that bypasses the tone for full, clean signal path tone. Nice and lightweight at 6lbs 5oz. Plays superb with a One-piece neck, Medium C neck carve. Low action, no fretwear. 100% original except I have 2 pickguards for it. The original black and a custom-ordered, exact fit, pro Red Tortoise that I think looks even better. I've owned a lot of Jr type guitars, for the dough, this plays as nice and sounds better than most. Kept in a non-smoking home. Comes with a gig bag. $400. Shipped/PPGift (or cover the PP fee) Firm for now, I will lower the price if it doesn’t sell. Sorry, no trades on this one.
  2. As a former owner of this axe, it really is a nice guitar in every way. A piece of history for sure!!
  3. Heritage is excellent. Very simple to add and delete items from your collection. I had a small claim last year and it was a piece of cake. Recommended.
  4. My small practice amp is an Egnater Tweaker 40. I know it's a little more powerful than most practice amps, but it's really small and pretty light. Sounds great a low volumes and can be used live if needed.
  5. I smell "Reality show" advance.
  6. SOLD!!! Going to a good home with Cynic.
  7. I bought a set of PhatCats and was all set to install them, but, you know, it didn't sound too bad with the original p/ups, so I left them in!
  8. FS: Hamer Jazz Box guitar with original Bigsby tremolo. Near-mint condition. Incredible flamey sides and back. I’d give it a 9.8, not really any dings or marks at all on it. (You can see the 3 small screw holes on the bottom edge, where the old tailpiece was mounted.) Plays really nice with low action and huge tone plugged and un-plugged. Perfect axe to live out your Pat Methany fantasies! 100% original except for added Bigsby (I don't have the old tailpiece). I'm just not playing it much in my non-smoking home. Comes with a really nice, TKL hard-shell case too. Yes, it's an import model, but, it's a killer sounding/playing Jazz Box no less. SOLD!
  9. I also wanted to punch this idiot in the first 30 seconds.
  10. Yeah, like my '59 ES345 I got for $750. or a '57 TV Jr for $500. I miss those days!!!
  11. I always meet them at my the garage. Never let them in your home. Done.
  12. The ebay final fees would be $110. Plus the additional $35. to Paypal (ebay owned). That's $145!!! That is getting too much for me. CraigsList is the way to go. I'm getting more and more out-of-town calls from people using national CraigsList search engines to find listings.
  13. It's listed cheaper on the Shelton's Guitars website. (Those new, higher ebay final fees SUCK!)
  14. Just got the new Bonamassa/Hart record "SeeSaw". Joe just kills it again. Here's a little ditty...
  15. Just don't like Pat Methany. I just don't get him. Kinda' like Yanni or Kenny G to me.
  16. Thanks everyone for the feedback. I learned a heck of a lot from trying these recordings. The next go round should be a lot better. I'm just glad I got stuff down on disk and it wasn't all distorted - haha. Just kidding. Now, I've listened to these tracks on about 1/2 dozen different speakers/systems, the car, laptops etc and it really does sound completely different. Too much bass, not enough, too much verb, too dry. That's why I mentioned how I give kudos to good engineers who can do this in their sleep and and make it sound great everywhere, it's freakin' hard! But, it saved us a ton of money to get some new demo tracks for potential gigs. That was the goal. I'll probably go back and re-mix most of them using all you guys's input. Thanks again!!!!
  17. Thanks guys!! Yeah, it's really hard to get a full stereo and room feel, as even the Roland drums were output mono, so no chance to pan toms or hi hats etc. I did try on a few tracks to pan the guitars L/R and the Keys to one side. Also, pan the background vocals around, but, you guys are right on, too center. I'll work on that.
  18. I know I'm asking for trouble with this. But, I bought a ProTools recording rig and just finished a few tunes for a new band demo. It wasn't too hard to learn, but I have a totally new respect for recording engineers now!! Long story long, I had the band over and we recorded some tracks in my little man-cave. All direct, electronic drums and guitars are all Axe-Fx II. Everything was live to disk with only vocal and solos overdubbed. What a blast. Without too much flaming, comments would be appreciated. We didn't intend for these tracks to be a CD, just a quickie band demo. (As crazy as it may sound, we recorded 7 tunes in about 5 hours total!!) Here's a couple, I'm still mixing the rest. SRV - Cold Shot Black Crowes - Jealous Again Susan Tedeschi - I Fell in Love
  19. Happy Birthday Greg!!
  20. Why is this still available? Awesome!
  21. Billy Cobham w/ a 22 y/o Tommy Bolin "Spectrum' Album (My favorite album of all time). Here's a killer cut "Quadrant 4" Check out his solo at 1:45, Echoplex madness! http://youtu.be/-FuKs4buY6U
