  1. YOU Rock! Everyone, click that!!
  2. You ok? Maybe you should see a doctor. I recommend Dr. Fung. He has a Vector that might cure you.
  3. I didn't know they made Watsons with LEDs. That is too cool. I will also take the Standard. I have been trying to get Kis to let go of the purple Improv with the EMGs, so wish me luck.
  4. I've got it on pretty good authority that many of the groundbreaking tracks on The Grand Illusion were recorded on the 2007 Strat I have for sale here. I have a note from Mr. Shaw documenting ownership somewhere. I am not even adding a premium to the price for it, mostly because I'm such a cool guy. Ah yes - here it is: Let me know if you're interested.
  5. There is no better guitar color than orange. Or a Rising Sun.
  6. Sexy! I'm not hearing a lot of criticism. That's a good sign. I like the physical size of it for sure.
  7. Punkavenger, yours has the "look" as well - very nice. I scribbled down your intriguing EQ settings. MCChris, the Mesa is being played by the singer/guitarist? "Long Live the Head" rocks. I haven't listened to them all yet.
  8. I think I have read some positive commentary here on these amps. I have narrowed my amp search to two, a .22+ being one of them. I understand the (+) to indicate the amp has a "lead master" control to better enable level matching between the channels, and both the .22 and .22+ came with or without the 5-band EQ. Is this correct? I still tend to practice mostly at quite low volumes, so for distortion and effects I'll just be running the GT-8 into the amp. On occasion I get left alone in the house and can turn up the volume, though. Can the Studio .22 play nice at low volumes? Friendly to effects gizmos? Fairly versatile as-is? Etc... Any and all thoughts appreciated. Thanks.
  9. Man, Joel can't even spell his own name correctly.
  10. I don't like gold hardware, pickguards on Standards, or anything with someone's signature on it, but that is a very cool guitar. I hope it ends up here so we can see more pics of it.
  11. Just because I always wanted to post in this thread...
  12. LOL! I suppose for me Julian Bream and Stevie/Jimi would be them, but you could NEVER tell it.
  13. Tough call - I like so many, but I can't play for sh!t, so I'd hate to tarnish their names with a list. Overall, maybe this guy...
  14. That is some primo wood right there. I'd smile every time I looked at them. Sometimes I look at pics of my own guitars while I'm at work. Sometimes I look at pics of my own guitars even when they are right beside me. Mostly I look at yours, though. Man, the HFC sure knows how to feed a guy's GAS.
  15. Yeah, this definitely seems to fall into the homemade t-shirt category, and probably with copyrighted materials that may or may not have been granted permission to use. My first computer with a mouse was the original Mac, but I can't recall when I first heard of mouse pads. I think it was quite a long time later. Carry on, everyone - nevermind. :-) I'm still the high bidder for the moment, though.
  16. Yeah, I don't remember custom mousepads (or any mousepads, or even mice) being hot items in the "Hamer Rocks Hard" days.
  17. As I said in Austin's thread when you posted that.... Holy F$%^$%^$C Sh$%^! That is some seriously gorgeous Studio right there. Now that it has Greg's mojo, I bet I never see it offered as a potential trade again. Congrats.
  18. Gorgeous guitar. It looks like you have come up with a great idea in that first shot.
  19. Nah. I know that guy. It's a custom order oceanburst Standard with boomers. He just needs to sell it quickly.
  20. LOL! These are great.
