Can't find the schematic right now but here's a pic. I think it is from 4 38677. I'll look again for the schematic later.

I doubt if I included my screen name when I paid in January Ted. I'll try to do better next year.

No one except the guy that's trying to sell one on eBay this morning.

It does look more like one of the import juniors from a few years ago than a USA Junior, that's why I included the back of headstock pic. But the listing said Special Junior, and that's what I posted here.

For a while I've been thinking that if I ran across a nice Junior at a fair price, I'd jump on it. One showed up this morning on eBay. Good price, but the seller's feedback made me say "not today". So here it is. I hope one of you has bigger gonads than this old man. And that the seller is better than his feedback suggests. 1999 Hamer USA Special Junior P90 Electric Guitar Natural Finish + Hard Case | eBay Good luck

HFC Performance Issue - The details if interested.

I haven't been here all that long, but I'm here most days several times a day. I try to give what I can, but truth be told I don't even spend as much here as I do on a cup of coffee every morning. I'd rather give up my coffee. -
I’m having a quintuple heart bypass tomorrow
Hbom replied to Victor (Fret Friend)'s topic in Hamer Fan Club Messageboard
From FB this morning. "This is Michèle (Vic’s wife) posting on his behalf. The surgery went really well and he’s doing really well in recovery (quicker and better than expected). He says he will update you later when he can type."- 56 replies

What a shame. Someone deserves a spanking over that one. If I had the wherewithal, I could learn to live with it. Of course, I'd have to find a pickup that was properly aged to fit in with the other pups and the aged color scheme. Do you suppose that putting the xtra pup where it is(off center) was an attempt to recreate the 3bar pickup from the Prototype?

I always get confused looking at these things. What's simple about a little box with 20 knobs & 6 switches?

A little something for a fan who just can't get enough Hamer stuff. Not mine. No affiliation. And I have no way of proving/disproving authenticity. Hamer Prototype Boomerang inlay Ebony Fretboard from the Maudie Moore Estate This listing is for one (1) proofing sample/prototype Hamer Bass fretboard made during the development of Boomerang inlays. This is from the Maudie Moore estate. Maudie lived in Kalamazoo and began working for Gibson doing inlay and engraving in the 1960's. By the 1970's, she went out on her own and still did special work for Gibson as well as many other brands, subcontracting work using her garage as a work space. Hamer contracted Maudie to make the Boomerang inlaid fretboards for guitars and basses. To start, they laid out the design and she made a series of proof fretboards that were returned with notes on adjustments that had to be made. When everything was dialed in, she made a template off the approved fretboard and filled their orders. This job started in the early 80's and the fretboard up for sale is one of the proofs. She did not have many, so I think she must have dialed it in within a couple proofs. This one only required few adjustments, and you can see in real life impressions where the revisions would be made. This is for a bass fretboard. It is ebony. I suspect the fretboard blank was pulled from her Gibson stash as it has Gibson indexing pin holes on the rear. This is incomplete, I would consider it more of a conversation/historical piece, and sold as is. Hamer Prototype Boomerang inlay Ebony Fretboard from the Maudie Moore Estate | eBay

I wouldn't at $4620/ounce. But I'm sure someone would pay $3100.00 for one. And think they got a great deal. 🫢

My link for Mann is MANNMADE GUITAR PARTS - JOHN MANN No mention of Hamer anywhere on that page. Thanks for the link.

I see that John Mann doesn't have a sustain block listed on his site anymore. That's a shame his were very well made. Hopefully he will bring them back from time to time when he sees the need.

Year End Experiences in Buying and Selling
Hbom replied to LucSulla's topic in Hamer Fan Club Messageboard
I saw your request @Feynman but never responded because my Hamers don't hold a candle to some that you have owned. I'm sorry that you haven't found a good one... YET.
