When Reverb became Etsyverb it became a window shopping only site for me. OTOH That would seem like a fair price for the Monaco Superpro. It's a pretty guitar and I'd guess, somewhat better than a 3.5K gibby.

It can. Depends on your ear. If you're not sure, you can drop 2 wires out the back of the cavity and use alligator clips to run through a few different caps till you find the value that fits best.

New switch. New pots. Might as well go all the way and do a new cap too. Even the fancy boutique capacitors are pretty cheap in the overall scheme of what you are doing.

Just checked. Those are the best PAF humbucking pickups ever made! 😉 Just googling them makes me drool. This guy is really impressed with them Bing Videos And if you don't get off on them, you can probably sell them on Reverb for 2-3 times what most of us pay for new custom wounds.

That's a bit surprising considering what he charges for his pickups. I've never played any of his, but everyone who has pretty much raves about them. Which model did you get?
