You are right. "It ain't that bad." If the price is fair, I'd buy it and be happy I got a Tally. If the paint job makes it look more like a Gibson LP than a Fender Tele, rejoice in your opportunity to be different.

Any answer to why it isn't setting down flat? Are the screws bad? Can you put a piece of hardwood dowel in and reset the bridge with tight screws?

Picture shows the strings almost sitting on back of bridge already. Wouldn't reversing the bridge make for a really bad break angle?

NO. Only 24 frets. But I agree that it appears pristine except probable pickup change.

When they 1st opened a new GC in Anchorage, they would ship new and used guitars and amps free to the store, then I could pick them up there. They stopped that practice in the 1st year. Now it seems they don't even want to ship to Anchorage, their store or my home, at all!

For $1800 it should have been a no-brainer. Sipping coffee and thinking for 5 minutes was not the correct approach.

Anybody get the Monaco III on Reverb this morning? Looked good but gone while I deliberated.

I think it works better when I think of it as 'I just saved $300'.

Would you need to worry about some foam rubbers having a reaction with the guitar finish? Like with some hangers and stands.
