I don't keep up with all the newer brands and offers but I think the Bare Knuckles Yard bird neck pup would work pretty well at that task. Great for blues and supposed to be terrific for jazz.

I got an offer that reduced asking price by $500. Out of my league. Too heavy, too many strings and too much $$. But if I were bigger, stronger and richer I would consider it. edit: I forgot Younger.

Nothing new here. Gibson built "long scale" guitars 25 or 30 years ago. Nobody cared. You can buy Nighthawks and Blueshawks for about $1500 or so on Reverb and ebay anytime if you are curious. I never found a Nighthawk that stayed around but I do like my '06 Blueshawk.

Prices are up on most everything lately and his are still reasonable. I couldn't tell you what's inside a guitar center. edit: TBH I tend to think in terms of how much I paid and not current retail price. So, Bubs is correct in prices being up. OTOH I don't know many who buy LPs at retail. Most of us buy at the sales on Saturday night and save 30-50% off. Jubilee-$50. Amp11-$85, Echophonics-$49.45, No Gen5. but probably 50Boner at the time it was available. Can you buy better pedals? Sure. Would I sound any better with a currently unobtainable Burn Unit? Probably not.

For a parttime working musician like yourself I suppose that is a fair assessment of Lovepedals. But for a fumble thumbed old fart goofing in his cave, I have to say that there are lots of options available for 3-5 times as much money as my Lovepedals. Sort of like saying I could get similar results if I replaced my MIM Tele with a Suhr Classic T.

Nice deal. I found a '92 version a few years ago. Bought intending to flip, but I like it so much it has turned into one of my most played. Neck is a bit less than my 95-96 Studios but not at all skinny. GLWTS somebody will be getting a great deal.

I see a few staying on Reverb at 6-7k but not so many going at that price.

It's not just ebay. I tried to get US Customs to go after that ebay seller and was told they couldn't/wouldn't do anything.

I will never understand why eBay, or anyone else, allows counterfeit items to be sold on their site and refuses to remove them when told that they are obvious fakes. One of the reasons I'll never spend money on eBay again.

Sold! And I'm glad. I don't need any more guitars and that one was really tempting. I hope one of you were able.
