  1. Reminder about drums: We secured an amazing house drummer for the whole event. His name is Chris Avgerin, he plays in several metal bands and has a percussion degree. He is the drummer we have on the CD we're recording with The HedgeHog and the Fox (the chamber rock trio of my brother and I + drums) and he is a total monster... so fear not; we've got it covered. Thanks!
  2. Gene: Thanks for priming the pump and getting things going for this year's event!
  3. I love how Mira is making the guitar faces too. What a sport!
  4. What hath Murkat wrought?
  5. If you can, put up a YouTube. I had seen the one posted earlier in the thread, but I'd like to see an HFCer take it through its paces.
  6. Were you tempted to tell them the jerk store called? If you had hung around for 10 minutes after you played it...I am suprised they tried to tag you with it. I'm very curious how this gets worked out.
  7. That is still one of the best tops I've ever seen. I had to have a EMG Boost circuit installed to give it some more muscle...now I can appreciate the cool part of the tonal spectrum this covers...
  8. Wow, Austin and Murkat....nice conversion! What replacement bridge is that?
  9. Impact guitar!!!! That's genius!!!
  10. I'd like to get another 25th ltd. I had one and sold it...that was really a 'presentation grade' instrument without the over-the-top blingification of the Artist Ultimate.
  11. Awesome, Jay. Now, you've got me thinking....
  12. The reception with Paul Hamer at the Cliffdwellers and Scott Licina recruiting John Ivan and John Pazdan for his superior suprise performance as the avatar of OffBroadway at the 2011 Hamer Jam at the Excalibur. Meeting Toby and wife at the HFC Jam. I hope that when this question gets asked about 2012, I will be able to say that my best score was my Ferrari Red SSII Custom Order via Young Master Greg and the 2012 HFC Jam at Excalibur.
  13. I was slightly afraid that there would be a bathtub route under that hideous guard. Looking great!
  14. Our own Stevie Conlon is a bassist in an AC DC Tribute band....so I'm sure Steveie would take you up on that.
  15. How about Theme for an Imaginary Western? Lots of space for soaring riffs there....
  16. We will miss you, young Veatch! Now Gerg doesn't have a 'handler.'
  17. Put me down for walkin' the dog. Also here are a few other we could try if people are up to it... Hey Bulldog (Chris and Rob) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-WI5ZRNi4i0 Vasoline (EarAcheMy Eye singing) I’ve got a Feeling 21st Century High
  18. Hey Earachemyeye... Check out this cool Tempest Tune from the early 70s (by the way....featuring a young Alan Holdsworth) This perfectly suits your voice
  19. Thanks, Instigator. Here is an instrumental jam that I posted on Youtube so young shredmeister and others who may want to play on the extended A and E jam in the middle can learn for the event. I'll also put up my other instrumental, Skirt Fever (during a performance of which once at the Muse Cafe, a spontaneous tribal drum jam broke out) for people who want to be on that. So much fun...
  20. Fantastic! BTMN. Thanks for organizing the fund raisers. PM to come
  21. lol Burningyen: Once again, you have failed to miss the point.
  22. The reflection of the leopard in the finish in a couple of those shots is a thing of total joy
