  1. I still have a running Search on Reverb for these... ... and after a year I still have had nothing turn up...
  2. Interesting they were visible to some initially. I can't even get the images by clicking the link - sometimes when this happens (FB, for example), I can click the link and get the image in a window. Either way, congratulations! The description sounds amazing!
  3. I don't know, the execution is absolutely abysmal, but a 34" scale baritone would be a force to be reckoned with!
  4. The ever-eloquent Lee (GrinningElk Music) just posted an interesting one: Robin Octave: Hide your sheep. 80s Lake Placid | Reverb
  5. Amazon.com: Play Guitar and Ignore Old Man Problems T-Shirt : Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry
  6. This thread has proven far more interesting than promised by the original question!
  7. I found one loaded with the Mesa Black Shadow (Celestion C90, according to Mesa) speaker - izat okay? I thought these were engineered specifically for an EV12ML? Do people regularly swap other speakers sound like in the Thiele? I have a couple of spares around (a barely used Celestion Blue and a never used Warehouse ET of some sort).
  8. No idea about cabinets, but I've heard good remarks about these. Looking for a 1X12 that would serve a wide variety of situations. https://reverb.com/item/85519353-bogner-112cp-closed-back-dual-ported-1x12-guitar-speaker-cabinet-2010s-black This particular example is about $150 too high (plus shipping), but is this the model I'm looking for? If not, what? but is this the model I'm looking for?
  9. Leave the hammers to the professionals You're right-handed - try holding the nail with your left hand Who does your nails? American Forge and Foundry?
  10. ^^Cool 60's Dove with the adjustable bridge and narrow nut.^^
  11. First thing I thought of when I saw it was, where was this design in 1978? Would have been perfect for "Rock Lobster" or "Planet Claire!"
  12. Saw Unka Greg post about that on IG maybe last week. He seemed very excited. Really cool and unique design.
  13. Are they (whomever strung it up) not just trying to increase string spacing? Not knowing what's under the string, that might or might not be a successful strategy. ETA: the actual bridge appears to be what's used on their mid-line models. This picture is from their BTB805MS:
  14. "Hey, I cured that headstock dive!"
  15. Oddly enough, I couldn't find that on Spotify. 🤔😂
  16. ^^I declare that today's winner of the Internet!^^ Thanks for playing, everyone.
  17. And 20 Hz output is good forrrrrrr..? Triggering a bowel movement? 💩💩💩💩💩🤣💩
  18. ^^ Mind boggling! And so incredibly listenable / musical ^^ Fascinating to me that he takes a song well beyond my technical ability and then riffs multiple variations without ever sounding contrived or redundant - every phrase is fresh and taken into a new direction. Absolute genius.
  19. Is this the origin of the Cathrine the Great rumor?
  20. Amazing! Where'd you find that? Murray State University student center was a regular stop for Lonnie Brooks (and son) in the late 80's. That must have been pre-Hamer as he played a Strat most of the time, occasionally switching out for a Les Paul (both wrapped in those Axe-Sack thingies). His son always played a thinline Telecaster. They were always fantastic.
  21. I checked my then high-school-senior daughter out of school for a "Cultural Event" (that's what I wrote in the log book in the Principal's office) and we caught Rush on that tour at the Bridgestone Arena. It was absolutely amazing. Was going to take my (seven years younger) son to see R40 when it rolled around. Wife deemed him too young and suggested we wait until the next tour...
  22. She is merely the spokescomplainer for an aggrieved generation. A generation (notable exceptions to be absolutely sure and to be celebrated) with no historical perspective and a millimeter's depth of personal awareness. Her lyrics resonate with their myriad grievances - this permits (encourages) overlooking the irony of her personal situation vis-a-vis her art. [/opinion]
