Mine, too (Moving Pictures, 1981, Mid-South Coliseum, Memphis), so it was great to make it my daughter's first real rock concert last year when I checked her out from school (from the check-out log, "Reason: Cultural Event" ) and took her to see Clockwork Angels in Nashville - and on a school night, just like when I saw them! I will say the CA tour really delved deeply in the post-Moving Pictures albums, primarily Signals. In retrospect, I'd probably have enjoyed the Time Machine tour better, but hey, getting to witness YYZ with a string section accompanying the band was nothing short of magical!

Out of all of the shots you guys posted from the Hamer shop over the years, the heel blend shots were the ones that absolutely terrified me. Serious savagery! I haven't had a Hamer for years. It's not a requirement. What you do need is the Hamer attitude. Without that you'll be derided, abused and ultimately leave or get kicked out. This board is seriously cool, a perfect mix of respect, bad attitudes, deep knowledge and deeper hilarity. Kinda like my hometown. Hey, don't take away my excuse to buy a new guitar. It's a much better excuse than my usual one of having managed to get up and dragged myself to the office in the morning Seriously, I'll be fine here I think. You can't "over ground," but you can create a ground loop and make the whole thing into a noise antenna. I'd want to know whether the ground is really effective by checking for resistance from a known point of ground to the strings. I'm guessing the strings are connected, but not effectively. One path to ground and make it a good one.
