  1. Oof... that flamed maple neck... 🤤🤤🤤
  2. Hmm... how flat and how wide...? While I definitely prefer fat and round, my Charvel 650xl is pretty flat but still comfortable to play. 1 & 11/16” nut with a D shape profile. It’s the thinnest of all of my guitars. Not Wizard thin by any means, but definitely flatter than my Mirages which have the standard mid to late 90’s Hamer medium carve.
  3. Ooh!!! I love those old Roxies. 25.5” scale, right? I lusted after a few of them 15-20 years ago or so. Definitely will be following this thread.
  4. Is it just me or is that bridge pickup crooked...?
  5. I’m curious about that maple fretboard 5 from the front... 🤤
  6. By that logic, since mine is #0123 then I should reserve #1234... I like the way you think...
  7. Well... maybe not “nobody”...
  8. That IS f***ing cool!!!
  9. Oh, damn... I would’ve said, “oh, snap” but I wouldn’t wish that on a headstock so outstanding...
  10. Were two of those reasons fret #23 and fret #24...?
  11. You should totally do a single cut 21 fret esquire build next... a set neck esquire... that would be insane...
  12. I just now noticed this was 24 frets... is that for all of the meedly meedly notes? What’s the scale?
  13. Ooh... is that a single cut in the front? More pics of that one, please...
  14. God, I love your single cuts...
  15. And then you go and post something like that, getting me all excited... now I’m feeling sorta blue...
  16. Mmm... single cuts....
  17. Mmm... blended heels and single cuts. Sexy... 🤤🤤🤤
  18. That sounds amazing. Can’t wait to see the finished result. I’m a huge fan of single cuts but there’s just something about the lines that I wish I could see in person. What you’re describing sounds absolutely perfect to me.
  19. Mike told me his lead time was about 18 months when I talked to him on the phone...
  20. The pickups are genuine SD Custom Shop "Ultimates" taken from an Artist Ultimate. The pickups were hand wound and serial number matched to the Hamer Artist Ultimates before installation. The same pickups without the serial number matching were dubbed "SLU's" (Slightly Less Ultimate) They sound like a Custom Shop PAF style pickup should. Very clear and transparent without coloring the tone of the guitar. Extremely versatile for all styles. I even plugged it into my 5150 and cranked the gain, got a great metal riffing tone out of them. The top is figured korina, not maple. And the neck is similar to a vintage carve, just slightly smaller than the more recent vintage carves. I'd put it somewhere between the medium necks of the mid 90's and the baseball bats of the 2000's. very comfortable neck with a nice round profile.
