SOLD! PRS MIRA CORE BLACK (2008) PRICE DROP

Ok, I tried to recreate my old Mira that I go a lot of use out of. In the end, I’m learning that I’m just a Tele Guy. So once again, I purchased a guitar, sunk money into and out it goes. 😕 

So, 08 Mira Core Black, Birds. Comes in the original case, all the candy. 

Hameritis, wasn’t just for Hamers. Must be a reaction to the rosewood. No flaking just white milkiness. PATTERN REGULAR NECK! Hard to find, most of these had Pattern Thin. Nicks, light scratches, its a black guitar. Neck is solid, joint is solid. Previous own felt the need dot touch of the ding on the bottom of the guitar. No cracks, anywhere and it plays great. The cowboy chord area was terrible and I didn’t want the frets mowed down because the rest were at stock height. So I had Josh’s Guitar Shop, replace the first 5 with stock wire. If I didn’t tell you, you would never know. We worked hard on this guitar with the intent of me keeping it. 

Pickups, the Stock MIRA’s are in the case, I put a set of hard to find Dimarzio Virtual PAF’s, and added the second switch so you can coil tap like the original and flip the phase in the middle position. 

$850 Paypal’ed and Shipped to the lower 48.

I normally don't care for the PRS birds but I like the outline birds. This is the second Mira I've seen like this. Very nice.

Outline birds are my favorite.

I always preferred the Mira double cut shape to the standard PRS DC shape. The smaller horns are more aesthetically pleasing to my eye.

Great guitars.  I have an 09 exactly like that except the moon inlays.  I like the outline and the brushstroke birds best.

I realize you guys are saving your pennys for the Irsay auction. You should however consider a Mira for pennys on the dollar over one of those guitars.

These are very cool.   One of the few prs I've considered buying.  Glad I didn't buy one years ago,  but only  because I bought my first hamer instead from django49.  that being said it was tough choice at the time.  I noticed they brought back the Mira this year also, but only in an s2 model.
