Guest JackButler Posted May 5, 2006 Posted May 5, 2006 I sat on this about for about a week to get all the details...some of you I sent the good word last week..but some details are pending..sooooo....NGW and ALFRED Pub. will most definitely be publishing "Intelli-Shred" and it is to be expanded to 96 pages from the original 38 and will be accompanied by a CD as well...hopefully this will all be ready for unveling at Anaheim Namm!...so here's some of the details as they were sent to me...Dear Kevin,My name is Nat Gunod and I am the managing editor and VP of Workshop Arts, Inc. (d.b.a. National Guitar Workshop Publications). My partner, Dave Smolover, passed along to me your manuscript for “Intelli-shred.”I think it is a good idea, and I presented it to my colleagues at Alfred Publishing while visiting LA last week. They agreed that we should publish a book with this title. It was decided, however, that this should be a 96-page book with CD, so additional material will have to be added to the current 38-page manuscript.Please reply and indicate whether or not you are interested. As soon as you can give me a “thumbs up,” I will have Burgess Speed, our editor, contact you to discuss the project. I'm still wading through a ton of stuff and playing catch up in getting replies out to the two weeks back log of mail that I have. Yeah,..its been crazy around here.. the book deal thing, preparing for the NGW campus workshops, the kids are all finishing up their school year, all three had to go to the dentist Thursday, one had to get glasses on Friday, Colton won the AR reading contest and I'm still keeping my full load of students and gigs..lol..so its just business as usual..lol!BCRGreg, "media star"?!?!?..I don't think so...lol..and so much good has come out of this place..I'm not forgetting ANYONE.

When he came over to hang out and jam one day he showed me some cool country licks in first position. Then, he showed me his secret, the position that really got him where he is today; he bent over and grabbed his ankles!! He does it so well too...the way he flips his hair over when he bends down. I think he practices a lot. When the cops tell him to assume the position he always goes for the ankles. He's got out of speeding tickets and everything.
