peedenmark7 Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 no trash was spoken about this thread starter.... his guitars are great. I simply stated what didnt happen. and that I missed out in the interim...thats hypocrasy and trash talk ?I have no personal beef with kilroy period, now or in the past...you and I had no transaction, as "nothing every exchanged hands".dave/david ? not gonna get into last names here...but if your in minn. , I believe we are talking about the same guitar ,as its the only b/c red trans burst that I've courted in the last few yrs that didnt happen.I am done going back and forth with you...you can have the last word if you feel the need.
hamersandstrats Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 I'm done brawling. This really means nothing to me. You can look up hypocrite in the dictionary if you are unsure of the meaning. Also, I am not Dave, and I'm not from Minnesota. I sold the guitar to Dave, who paid for it with no problems.Peace.Saxon, I hope you're enjoying that LP! It really is a great guitar. I wasn't doing it justice.
kizanski Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 I don't know how my name got brought into this, but to say that I am confused is an understatement.

Kilroy is all about... Posted May 25, 2006 Author Posted May 25, 2006 kiz- This might help; you passed on a hot-rod red NASH tele trade for the black monaco as while ago and the NASH tele is what I trade the cm'91 std for considering i already had the NASH tele in my house and srvwannabe, my local reno buddy, is in a complete and unmitigated hamer-heat gaseous condition, so we traded in lieu of cash exchange. I, too, do not understand how your name got involved, but i love the fact you posted on one of my threads; i feel like'um important . Still cannot believe the righteous deal you give me on that ole' black bastard sunburst, inked 8-0213. avoiding a complex federal tax code conflict with my client's nevada admin code language...hence, another unnecessary post from me... kilroy

Nope - that didn't help at all (I'm guessing because it has nothing to do with what those two are arguing about), but thanks for trying. From what my limited attention span was able to piece together, peedenmark7 is confusing hamersandstrats2 with Badger Dave (a notorious trouble-maker) from whom I did purchase (actually it was a multi-guitar trade deal) a red bound & crowned 1980 Sunburst. Shortly after I recieved it, Dave offered me cash for me to send it back to him. When I agreed to that, peedenmark7 emailed me (not knowing of Badger's offer) and offered to buy it from me should I want to sell. I told him that I had already agreed to send it back to the Badger, and he understood. Truth is, I have bought and sold so many guitars lately that I forgot all about that one. It was further at the back of what's left of my mind because I think I only had the guitar for a week or so, and didn't play it during that time, having already agreed to take Badger's cash for it. The mistaken identity business confused me some, too - lol! I'm glad you're still digging the Black Bastard. It's probably seen it all - twice.
Guest galejt Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 Is there a more perfect color combination than trans cherry over flame maple over mahogany?
kizanski Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 This ought to tie this whole thread together in a Six-Degrees-of-Kevin-Bacon kinda way...
Guest galejt Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 I may have to re-think my opinion of crowns. Black and crowns is nice.
Guest pirateflynn Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 This one is super cool, too........and it's for sale!http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v503/juliam/P1010024.jpg
BadgerDave Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 Geez, Whaddid I do?For the record, the transactions I engaged in with HamersandStrats2 and Kiz were exceptionally pleasant and I have nothing but good things to say about both of these fine gentlemen.I also did a major deal with Kilroy recently and give him my highest recommendation. He's a straitshooting, no BS guy. Now, I admit that I can't understand half of what he posts, but you can trust him to do the right thing and not waste your time. So, can we divert this thread back to Kilroy's guitars? If I was cool enough to play a pointy guitar, I'd buy one of his.
kizanski Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 If I was cool enough to play a pointy guitar, I'd buy one of his. Where have I heard THAT before?
serial Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 That natural/yellow trans four-digit Standard is extremely cool and pretty damned rare (maybe a half dozen of them out there in that configuration including Rick Nielsen's).Kilroy is aces to deal with-great guy!
pluto Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 I don't want to derail this thread, but I would like to say that Kilroy is a complete gentleman. I recently bought one of his vectors and I could not have asked for a better transaction. Not only did Rob give me a great deal, but he also sent the guitar overnight shipping to Hawaii on his own costs without my knowledge. That's over $130 bucks that he spent on shipping! Needless to say, I highly recommend Rob as a great person to deal with.
srvwannab Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 The '91 One-off is back on the market. My recent Zandard purchase has me thinking I need to lighten up a little bit. Plays great- really a nice guitar. $1,600-Email w/ any questions... joefetters at mac.comThanks!Joe
kurtsstuff Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 Kilroy swung by my house and picked up an amp on his yearly A's game trek and is a very smooth dude and a hell of a sense of humor! Great to deal with and zero drama!!..................Dammit!........My beer is all gone and my girlfriends pregnant!!!! KILROY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hehe
BCR Greg Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 If it was Kilroy, your girlfriend would be gone and your beer pregnant!
