Rechts Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 Knock it off, Poe.....you aren't going to get my Adobe cranking just to blast you for that comment, lol.I don't have a problem with MCC or Brooks. I like them both, and hope we can hang out one of these days.
edgar_allan_poe Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 I don't have a problem with MCC or Brooks. I like them both, and hope we can hang out one of these days.My statement about Brooks and MCC wasn't directed at you.
Guest galejt Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 This trip down memory lane has been fun, but I now have Irish Alzheimer's. I only remember the grudges. That's a damned shame.............but hey, at least I finally had a glimpse of the RECHTS that I have heard so much about. Cheers brother! DittoDittoDitto
morningstar Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 Ed Rechts hands down the funniest guy on the board.Good to the mighty Oed post again. Aloha from Oregon, Rechts!tommy
BTMN Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 I think it was the photo below that might have prompted the towel joke. It wasn't Pam, HEHEHE I wanted to meet the Chick Neilsen gal, Robin is a cutie but taken. PLUS, a heluva guitar player. Cest la vie. Pam is a very cool person one of many I am happy to have met from this nuthouse called a messageboard. I hope to see them play someday soon. Maybe NAMM next year. Love the band just cause I love Cheap Trick's tunes so much and they are a unique take on that. Everytime I wear their band shirt I meet new people and or hear interesting comments. I made Joe Satriani laugh at an autograph signing back in April wearing it. Life IS Good.
Brooks Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 He can't...his boys would never speak to him again. Brooks and MCC...those bastions of BCR...right...so sad. huh? how did i get mixed up in this silly dealer shit? i buy everything used, ha.
Jack C Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 Hey Steve - I've got a hot sauce question. How long will that stuff last? I've got one big bottle that I almost used up. There's another unopened bottle I was saving for Rockola Steve but I've decided to keep for myself (sorry Rock). If it has not been opened, how long will it last? Does this stuff need to be refrigerated?
Jack C Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 I sent you a PM, Steve. I definitely don't know anything about knifes except how to spread peanut butter. No patent work here, although I know people who do it. Shoot me an email at work if you want me to put you in touch with someone.
edgar_allan_poe Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Phoenix...check your e-mail when you get a chance. I would love to get some of that cream for my wife.
cmatthes Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 Somebody must have voted in the poll - this thing is ancient.
Buzzy Fretts Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 haha. I almost started chatting with rechts, think he had posted again this weekend.

Joe G Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Good to see Gale in the #2 spot. That Gale dude cracks me up. +1 I'm still a noob here, but Gale got my vote.
morningstar Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Rechts was hilarious. Not much fun if he got on your six with figurative 37mm cannon, but funny always. He could take it OK; all those pics of his NAMM show head pic photo-shopped onto all sorts of silly stuff are a good example. He was a good guy personally, and pretty damn bright. Last I knew he was on a project to unify the data base systems of all California courts. That's like trying to make sense of an inconsistent bird's nest of labyrinthine gobblygoop. Not something I'd be willing to take on.Oedipus Rechts.I missed Billy Wong by a couple weeks. I never did get to see any of that tomfoolery.morningstar
