BCR Greg Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 Found these from when I did some work for Rick...... Now you know how the checker hits the edges......
specialk Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 Great pics, Greg! Wow on the way Hamer paid attention to the details on the paint job. Those squares line up perfectly! And I love the neck inlays. Were they ever offered to the general public?
Jimbilly Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 Cool! so, what does it cost to have a 5 neck guitar setup??, yikes! And how long does a job like that take?
BCR Greg Posted October 22, 2008 Author Posted October 22, 2008 5 times as long, 5 times as much. Not really.....
G-log Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 I'll give ya $350 for em...Wow! Those are some well used guitars. I love the checking all over, how many miles have those guitars travelled over the years?Awesome!!!
Steve Haynie Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 Tell us more about the nasty headstock crack under the tuners on Enola. Is it splinted?
BTMN Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 This looks like Brad Whitford's guitars. I see the Mcinturff "Barn" guitar next to his '96 Korina Standard. Wonder what number of the 100 it is. I thought I read it was #10. Great shots Greg.
Feynman Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Man, how much does that five neck weigh?I love the weathered look of all of those, like they were, ummm, weathered. Thanks for posting!
bubs_42 Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 One of those Standards is on my short list. Korina ! Now all I have to do is not buy anymore Sunburst's and well wait a million years for one to come up for sale.
cmatthes Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Man, how much does that five neck weigh? If I recall, around 36 lbs. I've picked up the checkered one a few times, but couldn't tell you if it was 30 or 50 lbs. It's pretty deceiving because of all the damned necks!I wouldn't want that thing on my shoulders and back for too long. How that guy runs around with that thing, tosses it in the air and still manages to play it (well, "Surrender" isn't exactly the most technically challenging song), is pretty nuts.

And his Korina Standard with my pickups in it.... His most recent guitar boats....
cmatthes Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 More cool pics. That Goldtop is the $#!+ !!!
bubs_42 Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 More cool pics. That Goldtop is the $#!+ !!! +1000, Badass ! Brad is a Bad MOFO!
BubbaVO Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 So that's where the dictionary got the picture to use in the definition of "Bad Ass!" Great pics, Greg.
mirrorimij Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Cool pics Greg. Last time I saw the 5 neck it looked to me like a 30 year old guitar. Well worn for its 12 or 13 years. Here some pics when it was factory fresh
BCR Greg Posted December 11, 2008 Author Posted December 11, 2008 Damn, that's a cute guy, there.... hahaha.
