bruce919 Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 This pic was form the Factory last Friday. Do you see a Korina Moanco on the bottom front there? My Vector if Hanging there also.
HamerHokie Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 No, but I see a set of stairs in front of a Korina Newport.
mc2 Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 Is that a red HEADLESS Newport on top ?!?! Also, did you see if that Standard with the split headstock is an 8- or a 12ver?
serial Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 Hey wait-I see THREE Vectors. Dish and let us know which one (or ones) is (are) yers!
SirDouglas Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 Wondering if thats my standard hanging on the top rack..... weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Sir Douglas Randy
Guest teefus2 Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 the red headless isn't a newport, the controls are wrong.
MCChris Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 The headless is probably a color test No, it's the new Ichobod Crane signature model.Headless Newport ... WTF are you guys talking about?
belgian Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 OOCH, all those Monaco 3's in the back....and still no trace of mine.http://www.hamerfanclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2991pure torture
jujisque Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 what's the single-cut with a soundhole on the top row?
tomteriffic Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 what's the single-cut with a soundhole on the top row? An AB-12 (I think) 'acoustic' 12'er bass.
HamerHokie Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 No, but I see a set of stairs in front of a Korina Newport. The way you can tell that's a Newport instead of a Monaco is there's no headstock binding.
stobro Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 I'm no expert, but the cutaway looks like a Monaco to me. Newports don't have binding running up the side of the neck like that. I can't tell if the Monaco "shelf" is there, but I'm willing to bet it is.-Brandon
anotherfreak2 Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 both of my Newports have their headstock bound if it is a newport Korina, it will have tort binding, so you won't see it up the neck or headstock anyway.
bruce919 Posted June 22, 2005 Author Posted June 22, 2005 It is a Monaco of some type. It could be a all Korina Monaco elite w/ korina top. That would be a cool guiar. I had one quoted earler in the year.Namm is only a month away so some of thoes guitar are most likly on there way to Namm.
cmatthes Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 It does have a Monaco neck joint. Check the infamous "shelf"!
