Time to break out the paints and get one of those Clapton/Rundgren "The Fool" guitars working! :)

I was thinking EXACTLY the same thing!

It says Les Paul on the truss rod cover, but it's an SG! Everyone should have one.

The first SGs WERE Les Pauls!

I want one of these ...

with chrome hardware ...

and crowns ....

is that too much to ask? :):):)

That's probably the one guitar I've always liked but never owned. I had an Alpine White '90s Gibber 1275, but that wasn't the same thing. I'll scratch that itch someday, maybe.

Currypowder had one for sale not too long ago, very reasonably priced if I remember correctly. You might check with him to see if he still has it.

I did have one, but sold it (probably for way too cheap). But I was able to get a very reasonably priced Gretsch Setzer SSLVO with the proceeds, so it all worked out OK.

I believe all of the 61SG/LP customs have gold hardware and block inlays.

Somebody is selling a VOS/Historic '61 SG/LP Standard (2 HBs and Crowns, long vibrola) in Polaris White right now - Dave's Guitar Shop - for $2,200
