Hamer95USA Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 Hey Hamstd, I thought you sold off your basses already. Damn, I just bought the '82 USA Cruisebass. I really liked both the black Chapparals. I was asking you about that the other day. I hate when you guys put your stuff up for sale when I just bought a bass. Oh, well, time to keep my wallet shut for now and chill. Guitar George
HamStd Posted July 20, 2005 Author Posted July 20, 2005 Hi GG : Sorry about that. I thought they were sold too, but you know things happen and people have to back out for whatever reason. If I can get my ass out of work, I"ll can bring them by for you to test drive anytime!!!!!Peter.
Cary Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 I'm pretty sure you're just teasing with that Standard Bass but what year is it, anyway?
HamStd Posted July 20, 2005 Author Posted July 20, 2005 HI Cary: If people are kind enough to buy some of my Chaps I will start cutting loose the second wave of guitars and basses-that are alot more pointier and have ALOT more strings and cooler finishes. Come on folks, help a fellow HFC'er out. No serious offers refused. Of course this is the HFC so that is a pretty subjective line.....LOL.This standard bass is an '81 or '82 (4 digit serial number). I'll send you a pic of the std bass family which includes two '75/'76 basses. The best part of these damn things are the foot-long headstocks. Almost as cool as a forked one.Peter.
HamStd Posted July 29, 2005 Author Posted July 29, 2005 Come on Bass guys, help me out here. If you haven't played a chapparal this is your chance. Chapparals (both the basses and the guitars) are very versatile instruments and very comfortable to play. Package deals if you buy more than one and I"ll even throw in a cute puppy......ThanksPeter.guitarsforsale@gmail.com

Are any of the basses still available? I don't know what's going on after the board crash...
cmatthes Posted August 9, 2005 Posted August 9, 2005 Trust me...that one isn't for sale (YET, anyway!!). If and when Hell freezes over, Peter already knows I'm taking the first flight out to the West Coast with an open checkbook in hand to camp out at his door!
HamStd Posted August 9, 2005 Author Posted August 9, 2005 Discountsounds: All the basses are available except for the one with binding on the top as that is on hold right now.
