Mindseyes Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Post the cuts Up man, I wanta hear em,You can check out my stuff herehttp://www.myspace.com/noyolamusicI'd love some feedback on it also.We start working on a full length CD in a few weeks BTW if anyone cares.......
zorrow Posted October 22, 2009 Author Posted October 22, 2009 I'll try to answer all the questions tomorrow or during the weekend. Now I'm at job and we're in rush here today.
BTMN Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Zorrow, do you have the previous HFC compilation releases? Good stuff. Those are the standard audio level if ya wanna roll HFC style I would think. If ya dont have a copy, we need to get you a copy ASAP! The first two disc set Vol. 1&2 was $10 plus shipping IIRC. 25 tracks too. Course it was, DANG no date on the cd or case. Maybe 2002 or 2003?? This Issue: "If I Had A Hamer..." Got me some Mean Hearted Woman Blues about now, Long Live Nightwolf!
Victor (Fret Friend) Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 my band Concrete Sox could possibly contribute a studio track... i'm the founding member ('84) & use a modded '92 Hamer superstrat (among others/mainly Cort)...
zorrow Posted October 23, 2009 Author Posted October 23, 2009 Well, we have 15 already, so this is a GO for me. I'll check tomorrow morning the emails sent to hfc DOT compilation AT gmail DOT comSo, if you haven't sent your "official commitment" to the email address above, please do. The following infos will be appreciated:- HFC Nickname- Artist name- Artist website (if applicable)- Country- Contact info (email)- Hamer gear used- Links to some samples of your music- If you would like to contribute to printing the CD with less than 30 bucks. If you do, it will be like pre-purchasing several CD's at the cost price.- If you have some skills/resources which might be useful to this project --graphic design, mixing/mastering gear and experience, etc. Thanks in advance!
zorrow Posted October 25, 2009 Author Posted October 25, 2009 Bump! For those who have already done it, thanks for sending me your links and contact info. I'm getting into your songs and there's some serious stuff here. You guys are awesome! Well, we're still few (only six emails so far --plus me, seven ;-)), but given the songs I'm listening to, this compilation will be very varied and full of sheer talent. Now I beg to the remaining 9 persons who have voted "I'm in" to send me the confirmation email, so I can take this to the next level. Would you, please? Cheers!
GaryT Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 Post the cuts Up man, I wanta hear em,You can check out my stuff herehttp://www.myspace.com/noyolamusicI'd love some feedback on it also.We start working on a full length CD in a few weeks BTW if anyone cares......."Mindseyes" This is a cool cut man, and I like the Band. BTW the comment about Nightwolf [on another lower post] is really what was at the heart of my P-90 Artist Korina purchase last week. [actually I was thinking Sustain Block Specials or Sunbursts] but reality set in and I need a P-90 fiddle. I got to looking through old members. And the posting names I have posted under going way back to the Hamer forum before it was changed to what it is today. Of course I came across Nightwolf and that alone bought back a Flood of memories. Hell of a nice guy that just LOVED P-90 Hamers and to play and shoot the breeze. I assume he passed on? if so then "RIP" my brother. I know he's representing + ripping it up on one of his P-90 loaded Hamers in Rock and Roll Heaven!
Siaip Ciuvas Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 If there is still room I would love to jump in. Either with our band song either rerecording one of my old instrumental with Hamer
zorrow Posted October 26, 2009 Author Posted October 26, 2009 ^ There should be room. Please commit by email to hfc DOT compilation AT gmail DOT com -- the required information to be sent can be found here: http://www.hamerfanclub.com/forums/index.p...st&p=411145
zorrow Posted October 28, 2009 Author Posted October 28, 2009 In spite of the detractors, we'll get this done. BUMP!

zorrow Posted November 2, 2009 Author Posted November 2, 2009 I can always dig up something if you still need. You rock, man, and you know it. Please send me the email. However Dave, I think you've been in previous compilations --am I right? That's why I'll wait until next Wednesday to see if no more contributors confirm, but if you send me the email right now, you'll be 99% in --and I want you in, as some even say that if you're in, they will purchase the CD!

It's a GO!!!! Mitch's mystery song could be #17 --a "bonus track", as it's a rarity. So guys, I declare the first phase of the project closed --which is getting commited people in. I'll start this week collecting the material for true --listening to your samples more carefully, seeing from where I can download the .wavs, etc. I'll email you one by one, just to do this slowly, but well. Thanks for the awesome response so far!
zorrow Posted November 3, 2009 Author Posted November 3, 2009 Just a quick note here: I'm having a very busy week, so please be patient. I'll work hard on the project on Saturday. Thanks!
mathman Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 No problem. Take your time. I put a few of my favorites at the top of this page. One of these four are probably my best at this point. A bit of a variety of styles so choose what you think fits best.
