Devnor Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 SOLD My Earthen Studio up for grabs. Korina body & neck, brazzy fretboard and top made from 100+ year old wood submerged in mud. Excellent +++++ condition. I hardly played the thing. Dunlop straploks installed. Includes COA, Case...even the original box. No trades.
Hamerica Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Bump-age. Very distinct top on that one. Personally, I like the sediment markings the earthen series have. Very unique each one. Not that I don't like matched top guitars. Devnor, good luck with the sale.
veatch Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 And a lightly figured neck, too... Mmmmmmmmmmmmm....These don't pop up often. I can't say 'bout #8, but #10 (which i currently have) has a very articulate attack, but a nice sweet tone behind it / following it. In spite of that, it still has an aggressive edge. Good luck with the sale, Devnor.
gorch Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 What mud soaked wood can be other than burned. Delicious!
BCR Greg Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Devnor, being a good buddy as well as a customer, is an assclown for selling this guitar. Help him in his descent to hell and get a STUPENDOUS guitar at a great price and we will all later berate his unfortunate soul.

BCR Greg Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Mine was at sunset. More... Devnor will regret this, and we shall LAUGH and SING at his lack of judgment!
esquared Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Greg, do you have any pics that don't make this look incredible, so I don't have to be the one waving this in Devnor's face every few months! Thanks for the extra pictures.
specialk Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Devnor will regret this, and we shall LAUGH and SING at his lack of judgment! True. He should be selling that ugly black Standard instead.
Feynman Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 SpecialK, the Standard you speak of does not exist. Please put it out of your thoughts.
gorch Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Mine was at sunset.More... ... Sunset got the by far best light to picture guitars though.
ib2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 It would be nice if someone would buy this, cause it has been disturbing me since first site.
thehikingdude Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 I wood if I cood, but I can't so I won't. If you ever open it up to a trade let me know.

veatch Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 This afternoon I plugged this into my Axe FX and I swear I heard angels singing. Maybe it was the patch but in any event, I'm pulling this sale tonight. Thanks! Now we're talking some good sense!
