veatch Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 No reason in asking, but all the "wraptail Studio" talk made me think it was time for a poll...
atquinn Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 I'm kind of disappointed "Bridges? Feh! Gotta be a trem, baby..." wasn't a choice for all the polls -Austin
Jack C Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Where's "rosewood/piezo" on the poll? Duotones rule.
bubs_42 Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 I'm still a hardcore Sustainblock Freak. But the Wraparound is pretty good too. You can just feel the difference in the string tension on a SD/WB compared to a TOM. They feel good, real good.
Rusty Fingers Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 I think poll should be Jeff Bridges vs. Beau Bridges vs. Lloyd Bridges.
atquinn Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Interesting, Sustain Block got the blues.Personally, that was a country vote for me.-Austin
gorch Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Interesting, Sustain Block got the blues. Personally, that was a country vote for me. -Austin Sorry! It went to the same pot.
zorrow Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 BTW, is "Cuntry" a new music genre? I thought it was a game in where people took turns to try... well... you know. I think blues goes great with that, really.

GaryT Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Fo-Shore..lolBridges? I'm kinda open minded to them all. Theres something I like about the Tones on all of them. And something I don't like about the construction of all of them.
Brooks Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 Where's "rosewood/piezo" on the poll? Duotones rule.thank you, jax.
Hamerhack Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Speaking of the piezo...how do you pronounce piezo?
veatch Posted February 28, 2010 Author Posted February 28, 2010 If memory serves me correctly, it's *supposed* to be pronounced pi-e'-zo (3 syllables, long i, long e, long o, with the accent on the e), but with all of the cutbacks, we laid off the second syllable when the recession started, so i just call it pi-zo (long i long o). Seems most guitarist i talk with call it that too? Dunno - could be a Detroit thing. Regardless, Brooks and Jack are correct: No idea how i forgot the DT bridge. I am administering a self-imposed ban from the forum for the next 13 minutes. But i will be back. Ohhhh, i *will* be back....
