It was a parody of something Nightwolf said during a discussion of tube vs solid state amps.I can't hold a candle to Ed Rechts, though. His stuff is always hilarious, there are too many examples to even get into, and a couple of the funnier ones would probably reopen old wounds. What was really fun was the original board... Who remembers when we discovered that if you made the subject line of your message one continous word, you had to scroll to the right 15 screens wide? Or that fight that AnDy and Scarabarab had that was fought COMPLETELY IN SUBJECT LINES 50 and 100 words long?The fact that you didn't have to register and use the same screen name when you posted made for some funny shit too, although I did get blamed a couple of times for stuff I didn't post...

The most valuable lesson I took from that was to never ever ever pick a fight with Rechts or to be drinking or eating anything when reading his posts.
