atquinn Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 Well, if you've noticed, no ones jumping at that one either. Non-pristine Chaps just don't get much love (unlike say, non-pristine Calis).-Austin

devrock Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 It's also from Carr Guitar, who has a shaky reputation at best. He's known for selling mutts/repaired guitars without disclosing as such.
tbonesullivan Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 just keep relisting them on CL. eventually someone will bite. I would but they just aren't my type of guitar.
BCR Greg Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 How is it that so many say they will buy them yet the seller doesn't sell?
cwgatti Posted March 23, 2011 Author Posted March 23, 2011 Which is something that concerns me selling my guitars. I descibe them and photograph them as accurately as possible, yet the buyer could always find something unsatisfactory with a 20+ year old guitar. I would prefer to sell them in person. Are there any Hamer guitar shows where we can buy and sell coming up in the future?I bought a cali on ebay and the guy never mentioned the checking in the finish. I was really bummed. At least if he mentioned it. . . .

Would get more strikes if you were to email everyone who sends you one. Not each email, but at least touch base.

cwgatti Posted March 23, 2011 Author Posted March 23, 2011 Putting them on ebay. I sell them in 10 days, or I put em back in the closet.
morningstar Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 I have both bought and sold ESP and HAMER guitars to and from Glenn Carr. I have never gotten anything that was not as described. I do request the pictures that go into his picture collages. He always asks for all the money, which every seller is entitled to do.Somebody's results seem to have varied.morningstar
