Nope, its just not the same thing as the newer style Vector. The neck is going to be too thin for me. Maybe i'll sell a few guitars down the line and order one but for now the wait has been killing me for the Phantom Project. I could not image what 12 or 14 months worth of wait would do to me.

You might have an easier time asking for a Vector with an authentic Unicorn Horn nut! :D

Paging Bubs_42, please pickup the yellow courtesy phone.

I've bought from, and sold to, this Ebayer - good guy to deal with.

Now's your shot! Or does this mean that the custom order just went in last week?

Brother Bubs is enjoying the new baby and isn't that the luck? A Mahogany Vector comes along JUST when the new babe shows.:P:lol:B)

Thats Life! If just so happens that it is the exact same color and scheme as the first Flying V I bought back in 98. I purchased a White 1981 Flying V with pickguard just like the 70's V's. I traded a Brand New Lotus Strat and $35 bucks.

I'm on the New Baby High at the moment so this one isn't hurting me so much ;) That is a great price and I would shell it out if I had it.

That is indeed the Elduave/Rocketeria "Mexican Sun" yellow one.

I've played it (I damned wanted that one!!), and it's perfect.

The other Hamers in that finish are Tom Dumont's Vector and Serial Steve's Mahogany Standard.

Ya, that hurts a little since that was the one I was really searching for. :( Such a badass guitar.

Here's the '97 Standard in Mexican Sun yellow that I had done for my daughter when she was born (her name is on the headstock).
