smokinjoecbr Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Update;I got the guitar yesterday. It is a nice original 25th Anniversary. The case, and guitar are in great shape but the chrome on the tuner buttons and PUP's was really oxidized. I took the tuners and PUP's apart, polished with Mothers; it took about an hour or so. The PUP's are marked and correct. This Hamer sat in the case for a loooooong time. Probably under a bed or in a closet, it hasn't been played much at all. The pics on eBay were not great at all and I couldn't tell if reflections or not. Seller has 79,000+ feedback with 99.5 positive. For 462.60 its a sweet deal but I didn't know if the chrome would clean up or not. See the pictures. I used mothers to polish everything and it cleaned up really nice! So a quick update to the update, I emailed the seller about not mentioning the chrome issues. They emailed back a "form" looking replay basically saying I could return it for a full refund including shipping. I replied that I was going to keep the guitar. Today I got an email and they refunded $50.00 back without me asking for anything. That makes the guitar a total steal at the awesome price of $412.60. I would do business with them again!
