KofSeattle Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 What is a good price for a 94' Hamer Cruise Bass? 4 string, bolt on neck, perfect condition, w OHSC, standard bridge (not 2tek). Any assistance appreciated! Thanks~!
KofSeattle Posted July 30, 2014 Author Posted July 30, 2014 either but if all goes well I would be the buyer.
carfish7 Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 $450 - $700. Color?I'd say $600 is a fine price for a stoopid clean one with case. A really nice sunburst or anything other than blue or green, and I'd maybe go $700 with OHSC. But that is pretty much the top end as far as I would be concerned.
Cary Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 I thought they started making them in 96? Carfish is in the neighborhood, just make sure it's a USA and not an import.
bcsride Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 $500 as a bargin. $600 fair price. $750 if you really want it. Great basses.
JohnnyB Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Price? Pics? Pawnshop? Craigslist?About 6-7 years ago Jimbilly scored a USA Gotoh bridge Cruise from the PawnXchange (changed hands since) in Lake City for $280 (or was it $180?). But then, Jimbilly's really good that way.
KofSeattle Posted July 31, 2014 Author Posted July 31, 2014 Found it on craigslist just blocks from my house turns out for 350 [/urlhttp://s1366.photobucket.com/user/kofseattle/media/IMAG0606_zpsfbbuawug.jpg.html]
velorush Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 The legendary and HFC-approved Tree-fity! Congratulations!

Sugartune Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Those strings look great! Factory original?Great deal on that bass though.
KofSeattle Posted July 31, 2014 Author Posted July 31, 2014 Not sure if the strings are the originals but I would not be surprised. This thing had to be a closet queen for sure. It is as close to perfect as they get. I don't think it got played hardly at all. Definitely a score! I have been wanting to pick up a Bass for some time but don't know Jack about basses. Figured I couldn't go wrong with a Hamer USA, right? and for this price as JohnnyB says, it was a "no brainer".
killerteddybear Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 I lucked into one many years ago for $250 (not 2Tek). Owner didn't know what he had!Didn't like the bridge spacing, so rocktuna's son-in-law now has it and loves it.
Caddie Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 You clearly got taken downtown on that one Kof. So obvious…...the truss rod cover is crooked! Deal breaker. All kidding aside, it looks great. I trust it plays as good as it looks. Cheers caddie
