(I’ve told this story here before, so apologies for the redundancy.) Ugh! Appx 20yrs ago I saw Uli open for MSG in Concord, CA. He was touring his. “Vivaldi: The Four Seasons”, release. After his set he went to the merch table to meet with the fans. I was the last to the table. He was very gracious, and fielded all of my fanboi questions about his 70s gear. I brought along a very nice Carerre Records import CD of “Virgin Killer”/“In Trance” to be signed. Uli flipped thru the liner notes/photos and chanced upon the original, “VK”, cover shot. He frowned and looked totally mortified and shrugged, “ah, well. We were young and stupid then.” (BTW, he signed the cover of, “In Trance.”) Edited June 2 by RobB 3 Quote

RCA changed the cover for US release with a fist-shaking band pic: ETA: added aforementioned pic. They shoulda done a brick wall or railroad yard shoot… Come to think of it, they replaced the graveyard cover of, “Taken by Force” with a band pic, too. Edited June 3 by RobB 1 Quote
