Well that looks....sad.

And what's with those knobs? That can't be original, could it?

Awesome. I'd like to see it white again. Tunomatic probably could stay?

Hahaha... I was just kidding... I think you should make a play on it~

I would if there weren't all the misspelled words.

Dude, for that price?.. I would most definitely be all over that if it weren't for all the shipping, Customs, translation bullshit issues... perhaps a fellow HFC member can assist you

I'm happy to shoot off a mail on behalf of any member, most Danes have excellent English so at least you could speak with the seller - not sure if he will export - that would be something you would need to discuss directly

Stripped with an added pickguard. Knob location looks correct.

Oh...more pics....at least they didn't strip off the original SN#.

Would look great put back to white and the pickguard removed.

Cool find!

Probably be cheaper to just fly over to pick ot up and carry it on a plane.

I may make a play for this. My wife speaks Danish, we have friends there, flying there in a couple months, and I could just carry it back. If I don't feel like shipping it off to Murkat to restore, who wants dibs?

Ok, communicating details with the seller. Want to get this back to original color. Why they stripped it, is mind boggling.

Looked killer in its original state.

This is sort of off topic and not speaking directly about Danes or to your analysis.  It just reminded me of when I used to work on study abroad trips and go to Europe every summer.  One thing that cracks me up - in the most heartwarming way as I think it speaks volumes about how polite most everyone I ever met overseas was - about Euros is how many of them think they speak less than excellent English because of something minor like, "Well, you can still hear my accent."  I had an Italian cigar salesman in Rome positively embarrassed that he had to speak to me in such, "terrible English," while I was jealously wishing that I spoke Italian if 1/3 as well as he spoke English.  I kept telling him that if anyone should be embarrassed it should be me!

Meanwhile, the American kids I used to take overseas would tell people they were fluent in a language if they knew how to order a shot, ask for a phone number, and find the crapper.  The first trip when we were in Italy, they also just assumed that Spanish and Italian were basically the same language.  A bus driver asked me one night, in all seriousness, if my students were from a "special" college for the developmentally disabled.   He actually felt bad for them because he thought, until I explained the mentality of the average undergrad, that these students didn't have the wherewithal to even understand which country they were in.

Anyway, sorry for the thread hijack.  Just made reminded me of some good memories.
