From the @edgar_allan_poe Collection, formerly from the KiZaNsKi Collection, and now back in my care again (on loan), these two fine examples from Bill Nash:

First, this 2009 Nash "1959 Telecaster Custom" in Fiesta Red with double-bound body, maple neck and original soft case.

I bought this guitar in 2010, played it for a while, traded it to Poe who gigged it for several years and then pretty much retired.
It is light, resonant, and has a superb acoustic voice.
$OLD shipped, PayPal gift.

Then there's this...

This is a not-sure-of-the-year Nash "1963 Stratocaster" in Sonic Blue.

This one was and is one of my favorites.
This was purchased around the same time as the Tele above and traded to Poe along with it for a Huber which I sold some months later (of course).

Anyway, this one is a gem. I had this one at the same time as the 1959 Stratocaster that I got from Dave's in Lacrosse, WI, and if you closed your eyes and played either one, you'd be hard pressed to tell them apart. It hardly matters either way, of course, because I sold the '59 as well.

I am nothing if not fickle.

This one has a full neck, some cowboy chord fret wear, and the original soft case.
$1,450 shipped, PayPal gift.

I am literally "selling these for a friend," but the good news is that you all know the friend, so this isn't some fugazee eBay scamboogery.

PM or email me for more details.

And of course there's always this...

1996 Mirage II
Also in great condition. Some light scratches on the back. None through the wood or even at all deep.
Has PRS pickups installed.  I know what you're thinking - Yuk! That's what I thought. I even bought a pair of Rios to put in it, but after plugging it in for a while, I ended up using the Rios elsewhere.  There was simply no reason to change them.
Little to no fret wear, typical Mirage flexibility and greatness. A true Swiss Army guitar.
Original Wilky bridge with trem bar, OHSC.
$0LD, shipped to the lower 48. PayPay Gift, please.

A small amount of Pizza Day excellence.

A couple of light scratches.

I have been duly authorized to deal!
How can I make such amazing deals?

Volume, volume volume!

Verily, but go easy on him. At least he didn't quote Nipsey Russell.

It was both. They both played the judge in that series of skits on Laugh In.

Julie Newmar was  Catwoman.  And, more importantly, Frank Gorshin was the Riddler and Burgess Meredith was the Penguin.  Not that idiot Jim Carrey or Danny DeVito respectively.

I didn't hate Halle Berry as Catwoman and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman is just... h-h-h-h-h-h-h-huuuuuuuu......

Nash "1963 Stratocaster - $1450

I couldn't help but notice there was a description of it's acoustic voice. WTF are you going soft?

A little Easter egg for my HFC bros!

This was my main gigging guitar for years, and the best Strat I have ever played or owned.  I am out of the music biz now.  I retired from it a few years ago to focus on my coaching jobs (I coach girls volleyball, girls basketball and boys volleyball for the HS at which I work) and hang out with my grandson.  Trades are extremely unlikely but feel free to make the offer anyway.

I had to edit the Reverb listing to remove any photos or mentions of the Fender decal on the headstock.
After several attempts to blur the decals to their satisfaction (apparently there is no such thing), I was informed that they would continue to suspend the listing, not because the decal can be seen, but because it has one in the first place.
"You would need to remove the decal from the guitar in order to sell it on Reverb," one representative informed me, to which I informed him that he was out of his fucking mind. Communications inexplicably broke down after that.

So, for the time being my original listing is live, albeit with any mention or photos of a Fender decal removed.

On a positive note, I received several inquiries about the guitar, and not one of them was regarding the weight of the guitar, the neck dimensions, or even requests that I describe the guitar's acoustic voice. This fills me with hope for the future of our planet.
These questions were actually in reference to the lack of any of the markings, like Bill's signature and year of manufacture, typically found on Bill's guitars made in the past 10 years. This guitar predates all of that, but if I were pseudo-interested in purchasing this guitar, that in itself wouldn't be an adequate explanation for me either so I busted out the screw gun.

Popping the neck and pickguard revealed Bill's "build notes" for body color (Daphne Blue - I always thought it was Sonic Blue), customer (Rumble Seat Music), pickups (Rio Tallboy/Tallboy/Halfbreed) and degree of aging (Medium).

Cool...

It doesn't stop morons from asking me for photos of Nash's signature on the back of the headstock, though.
First of all, this guitar predates Bill's signing of the headstocks.
Second, there is a photo of the back of the headstock in the listing. Why would I have a photo of it there if it clearly is not there??
Third, the other writing seen on the body, neck heel and pickguard is clearly Bill's, so there is no doubt that it is a Nash.

The irony here is that people want proof that it is a "real" Nash.
A real fake of another real guitar.
