Rio Grande Pickups are back

After the passing of Dave Wintz, not sure who's opening the doors again. But, I always dug their pickups.

I heard it was Steamboat Amps, but I don't know if that's accurate.  I liked their pickups that I've used in the past, and look forward to their availability again.

I am not sure that Rio Grande ever went away.  I got a big bottom set to make a Machete whole a few years ago.  I do love a Muy Grande humbucker.

Whoever the new guy is I hope they ditch the douchery in their pickup descriptions.

In an industry that uses warm, brown, bloom, punchy, woody and bite to describe sound, not sure how anything they've done would be so terrible.

I think I remember one from SNL that would be a good pup description: " this is a very mischievious pickup, one that almost begs to be put to bed without any supper".
