Maybe but some of the prices I’ve seen recently for these and similar ones seem pretty optimistic. Not that I’m any kind of expert. And not to detract from that guitar in particular.

Tom, it’s a great FM Special and your price was more than reasonable. Would I have paid $1850 for it? Probably not. Is it worth that much? Absolutely, especially when comparing its features to similar-priced guitars.
 

Hamer’s secret is outta the bag, prices are climbing steadily northward.
