I remember when that line came out. Classic 80s super strats. At least some companies realize what people want. Now if only Gibson would pull their head out of their rear and bring back the REAL Kramer guitars, instead of just using them as an entry level thing. They are so afraid of their own brands competing against each other. Someone has to tell them that people not everyone wants a Gibson.

At one time, Gibson teamed up with Wayne Charvel and created their version of a "Super Strat"

Yeah, it's weird, they've shifted both Kramer and Epiphone to be these entry to mid-priced brands.  The SM-1 if done correctly could be a proper pro guitar these days.   I'd like to see the same model but with the  straight in line headstock.

Yeah, but I'm guessing this was when they couldn't use a Floyd, so you had whatever that is on it.

Mine has a Kahler fulcrum and is quite good👍

The whole guitar is actually quite good... but  I'm not particularly a fan of the small switches
