As these Tone King pedals are rather expensive, the concept begins to converge with the Synergy approach. At some point you ask yourself: which is better for you - pedals on the floor, or modules in a head? The Tubesteader pedals are cheaper so it makes the decision easier, but those Synergy modules sound GREAT. If the Synergy preamp head was cheaper I'd go that route in a heartbeat - one Morgan module and one Marshall JMP module.

If you are a Facebooker there are a couple of Hamer USA pages that might have a lefty for sale from time to time. But I don't see any today.

Thanks! I'll definitely keep an eye on Reverb and continue checking here as well. Hopefully, something will turn up eventually. Glad you finally found the one you were looking for!

The tube alone is not the answer. Depends on how it is used. Duh! At risk of being redundant, check out such as the Tone King PREAMP pedals (note that a third one, this time a Vox take, is about to drop). They are the full TUBE preamp from their high end combo amps....Great sounding and very versatile. As I get older, smaller and lighter but still the full tone package, is a nice alternative. Once more, the Effectrode Blackbird is also an excellent option.....Assuming you like that cascading gain sorta thing.....

Guitars....The future is here(?)

It is a refin, of course. The magic link!

40+ years living with a 747 at idle on tarmac in my head, ears. Some days better, some worse. Not much can be done. I read lips a lot.

I wanted to bid on some of his amps, but no such luck. Too expensive. 😞 There was a Nash Strat, and a few other guitars i bid on, as well as a few Gibson Lab amps. as you know, the prices went Boom...

Regretfully this was not able to make it on the schedule for me. I sincerely hope that it’s a great party and good times are plentiful!!!! 😎👍🎂❤️🏁

A word of advice for the aging, don't plan a huge weekend party in which you're playing in 5 of the 8 bands. It prematurely ages you!

Cool! Actually, I'll turn 70 too, in December! 😃

Oh come on, Dave. We could hook it to a Variac just for you.

Again, I love their music! One of few new groups that really get progressive rock! Second album is really great too! 🙂

So the White Stripes got a new bit?

I wish I could attend. Have a good one Bruce!

All these auctions with items by major music stars always end up costing much more than their "Estimated" selling price. That along with buyer premium and shipping costs make these auctions really unobtainable for the average joe and cater to the buyers with really deep pockets. I guy I used to know was in an auction bidding on a "PEARCE" guitar amp that was used and owned by guitarist Ronnie Montrose. It sold for twice what you could have bought it for on Reverb and that was before the buyer premium and shipping was added to the total. I know it was Ronnie's but............

Bolt on is a late 70s Mighty Mite body. Wayne Charvel era. Mated to a Hamer Daytona neck. The body was my first Evilbay purchase years ago. Found all the parts and had it finished here in Tampa. Rebound and assembled by Ben Chafin.

What's up with the one with the Daytona neck?

that's quite a collection...

there is a stage used checkerboard prop head that's $1,500.00 and #004 is $150,000.00 ahhhh, no

you've looked at that guitar long enough, move along

Mike, We have already discussed this and you know I will continue to pray for you. I treasure 0006 and the friendship we enjoy. @cmatthes, perfectly well said, Chris.

Never heard of her till now. Extremely well-spoken. Thoughtful, professional, and passionate. Very cool. I bet she is a good hang.

She’s a pro. Totally dig her and the band.
