Couldn’t agree more. I have 3 of them, a tropical turquoise, a sunburst thinline, and now the Dakota red. The TT is easily my most played guitar. - Yesterday

New Experience: Les Pauling (an EQ odyssey)
mrjamiam replied to velorush's topic in Hamer Fan Club Messageboard
Well put. It doesn't think, but it can do the searches you allude to incredibly fast and summarize results. The problem, of course, is the old Garbage In, Garbage Out risk of all computer processing. If all the search results it compiles were posted by idiots, the output will be idiocy. AI has great potential, but taking the next step of considering and maybe discounting the source will be harder than just scouring the web. -
Quick question about a band

Here's a new one. https://www.facebook.com/reel/1664360981424728 -
I've seen some pretty bad ones on Facebook, but this guy is far beyond what I usually see. These are accounts entirely built on getting clicks. It's possible that it's just stolen content, which is all over facebook. I mean, they are humorous, but I really hope that people aren't actually paying money for them to wreck their guitars. Seriously, "secret pick holder"??? What the hell is secret about that???

I love my Hamers, but EJ Strat is absolutely best in the Strat category, especially the early ones. -
Is the phrase, "It's a reminder of what's to come," correct?

After purchasing and playing around with a couple Fractal units for a bit, I found I just don't care for their user interface or editing software, so I'll move them along. Fractal FM3 + FC6 - includes Faslink cable to connect them In original boxes inside the shipping boxes. Like new condition and reset to factory state, only got them out to try them etc. Will put a couple photos in. Most recent sale of both on Reverb is $1400, I'll take $1250 Paypal FF plus actual shipping Fractal AM4 with power supply Also in original box in shipping box. Again, basically in like new condition, except for the original owner replaced the Level knob with a detented knob so it doesn't move unless you want it to. Original knob is in the box. Just tried it at home. This one I did buy used, so just want back what I have in it. I did create two patches each with 4 scenes, a Fender and a Marshall. I'll leave them on there. $550 Paypal FF plus actual shipping If someone's interested in picking it up and is in the vicinity, I'd be glad to meet up somewhere. I'm about an hour north of Baltimore and a little over 90 minutes west of Philly. Thanks, Scott

Ladies and gentlemen, a guitar forum discussing the vagaries of the English language. What sort of nonsense is bringing etymology into a discussion? 🤣 A few, but this one would still exist. -

Took me ten solid minutes of Googling to find out who was fronting this effort: Glen Wise. He's not on the HV website, not in the YouTube description. You'd think someone who could do such a capable job of Lemmy's vocal while also doing a capable job of playing his bass part would be at least mentioned. Or maybe I missed it and it was there all the while. At any rate, the song that introduced me to Motörhead when they played it on "The Young Ones" - great job!

Good results! More than once I had someone come over to buy something, ask what else I had, then proceeded to take more. A few years back I had a young guy locally that went rather nuts on guitars Could barely play when I met him, but he got better. Over a couple years, he bought over $60k in guitars and related gear just from me. Pretty sure he spent even more on real high end guitars from others. I reckon that he shipped a good number of them to China through Hong Kong before they tighten things up. I could make more progress if Mr. Hong was still in a buying mood....😉 Yeah, I have a pretty weighty stack of amp gear, including several classic Mesa pieces, some Swarts as well as the (too many) cabinets I built. But it does not make a lot of sense to ship those heavy things.
