  2. Board works great! Thanks, Ted!
  3. Of course. I've never heard of that hideous thing, though.
  4. Jennifer Finch, the bassist, vocalist and songwriter whose ferocious presence helped power L7 through the ’90s alternative-rock boom, has died. She was 59. Finch died following an aggressive form of brain cancer, according to a statement announcing her death. L7 paid tribute to Finch in a statement, writing, “We are shattered by the loss of our beloved bandmate, sister and friend Jennifer Finch, whose fierce spirit, humor and boundless creativity helped shape L7 and changed all of our lives forever.” “Jennifer was a true original who lived entirely on her own terms, and the impact she made on music, art and everyone lucky enough to know her cannot be measured,” the band continued. “We love her beyond words and will carry her with us always. Rest in power our dear friend.” The statement was signed, “With Love, L7.” Finch’s death comes shortly after L7 shared that she had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer and would be unable to join the band’s upcoming farewell tour. The band said at the time that she required extensive medical care, rehabilitation and professional in-home support following multiple surgeries and serious complications. --- Finch had announced her diagnosis about a week before her death. Fuck cancer. RIP, ma'am.

  5. Well, you certainly have great amps. The Deluxe reverb clone should sound great with it as far as clarity, unless you really have it cranked. I had a '62 reissuethat i put 57's in, and it sounded great. I also had a 2010 Standard with a set of Duncan 59's that sounded really good. Now I'm using my P90 SG's all the time and playing my Hamer 25th anniversary for my mahogany humbucker sounds. I also switched to 9's after years of playing 10's because my 66 year old hands are tired. That actually had a pleasing effect on my clean tone. I have a '68 Drip Edge Deluxe Reverb, and a killer 70's Princeton. The both sounded great with all my SG's. Good luck on the quest!
  6. Agree 100%! The '83 show with Snowy was probably the best rock show that I ever saw. Scott was on a stool with a broken leg. I was jammed against the stage right in front of him, and just to the side of Phil. Unreal memory. Agora Ballroom in Atlanta. Chinatown Tour I believe..

  8. I couldn't remember offhand. I'm becoming my dad with names. I did catch it on a special they were having around Christmas that year. I don't recall the exact price, but it was surprisingly affordable for being built by Wayne himself.
  9. Yesterday
  10. Good catch! It's a size L—arguably the most valuable accessory in the package. 😂
  11. You left out the most important part: what size is the t-shirt?
  12. Which one are you?
  13. Before I list it elsewhere, I wanted to offer it to fellow HMC members first. If anyone is interested, I'm selling my beautiful Nacho Blackguard Telecaster with a gorgeous faded blonde finish, 83C neck, and weighing just 7.47 lbs. Comes complete with the original case and the full package, including the wax-sealed spec paperwork, leather binder, keychain, bridge plate, build photo USB drive, and even the original t-shirt. Everything that came with it is included. Looking for $5,800 includes shipping and PayPal fees.
  14. It would be my pleasure! Another teaser:
  15. Nah, I actually know the answer, I was just trying to strike up a conversation 😂.. That's a California Woody... The Monster is a unfinished mahogany body as opposed to alder or ash... both unfinished "oil rubbed" to let the body breathe... Rock Legends are custom painted 🎨 That's a killer guitar you have there... Lemme know if you ever decide to sell In other words, Dibs! 😂
  16. Yo @Jeff R when did you last speak with the man? long live Wayne y R”R” and R&R i know, I know, the white V is technically the first Jackson. .
  17. Germany and Austria are looking like 2027 destinations for us. 🤔
  18. I believe that is the Rock Legend model if I'm remembering correctly.
  19. Hey Guys- reluctant to post on Ebay and Reverb, but it's coming! Cheaky little price reduction for a bump NOW £1700
  20. I just pulled my 1988 Burgundy Mist Model 3 out to give a little love to today. RIP Wayne
  21. I probably have the same ones in a box around here somewhere
  22. Scott was the corner stone in Thin Lizzy's guitar canon. Scott and Robbo is one the best guitar duos of all time. Scott also yelled well with Gary Moore. And he was a great duo with Snowy White. His rythm playing and sense of melody as a lead player - always in support of the song - is as good as it gets.
  23. Nice!.. is that a custom shop "Woody or Monster?" 😍
  24. Would you consider trading for old Guitar Player magazines? 🙃
  25. Thank you, Dirk! PM sent. Teaser:
  26. Better late than never. @boundandcrowned, the Hamer neon looks fantastic. Congratulations!
  27. I assumed the marks by the nut were from leaving the guitar hanging in a Hercules-type guitar hanger (without using a cotton inlay)…? Please post a pic when you have time.
