  1. Past hour
  2. Seriously, I lost count of how many sentences I typed then deleted after I typed "... 1986." There is literally nothing else I could type that wouldn't have been worthy of a Moderator warning - and who needs any of that? One of the great things about the HFC and I will absolutely do my best to keep it that way.
  3. By the way, aside from this one and my 2-S/N Schenker Vector, are you aware of any other Vector featuring the 67 V body?
  4. But seriously, sorry for your trouble and glad it got resolved.
  5. Brutal
  6. It appears that DBraz' entire account was hacked by a Moroccan fraudster. That's been shut down and he should be all good now, but definitely a reminder to change your passwords here, there and everywhere at least as often as when you change the batteries in the home smoke detectors!

  9. Wow, I almost bit on that Ultimate 😳 Was your PM hacked as well?
  10. Mad! Was that the brief FS thread for an Ultimate?
  11. Hey guys, I don’t post or visit this site much these days. Not for a lack of love. Life… Anyway, I hope you are all doing well. I play and record with my Hamer’s and Shishkov’s regularly. But I am not currently selling any of them. Someone seems to have taken advantage of my absence and posted that they are selling guitars. It looked like me, but it wasn’t me. My account has now been reset and this message is a polite point in case any of you were mislead. Dbraz
  12. Wow, I didn't know he had been sick. Reading that he had formally left March 2026, after leaving in late 2025 for surgery that was expected to cause a temporary absence. Jeez that sucks. Any, looks like the tour goes on. Thankfully Elwood has been with the band for decades already, and there's also lots of long time staff there to keep things going as long as BFG wants to. I just pulled up this rig rundown from 15 years ago and man did Elwood look different
  13. I played a similarly equipped RR50 head a few months ago. Absolutely amazing sounding amp. If you want the vintage Plexi sound without paying the vintage Plexi price, this is your ticket right here. Buy from Bubs!!!
  14. something to do with lawyers who desire yachts, would be my guess
  15. You're opening up a whole political can of worms... 😒 As for Yosemite, it's freaking awesome, but I still wouldn't visit it because it's WAY overcrowded... perhaps it's just me, but when I want to visit a National Park, I don't want to stand in line waiting for anything... I just want to stroll around, hike, camp by myself, breathe in the fresh air, relax and let it all soak in
  16. If you're seriously wanting to know (and not just having a fun yet therapeutic rant): Proposition 65, passed in 1986.
  17. Agreed. Takamine isn't a brand I'm very familiar with and I think of them as more an amplified stage guitar but the Peak looks like it could fit the bill. I don't see the less expensive model available for sale used anywhere right now but I've got searches saved. So the contenders for now seem to be the Takamine, the Pono, and maybe Eastman? I don't have any experience with the latter but they at least have models that check all the boxes spec wise and the online retailers have new models in my price range so if it's not all that in person I can return it without issues. Also watching Sweetwater for damaged or returned Alvarez Yairi PYM prices but even then I'd have to spend more than planned.
  18. I was (almost) involved for a bit in a business and when they tried to ship to CA they ran into difficulties doing so because of package labeling. I did a little research and pretty much every product has to have a label on the package saying this product causes cancer in CA. You can't ship to CA without this warning on the label. So, causes cancer just in California and doesn't cause cancer in all 51 other states? I then noticed my Spectrum webmail has not one, but two California privacy labels. Don't move to California I said to my other self, you will die of cancer and all your secrets will be known. Now I don't know now if I want to visit Yosemite. Might just die of cancer with my secrets out of pocket. Which there are. Many.
  19. His playing on stuff like Heard It on the X and Manic Mechanic was crazy. Kind of a secret weapon like Michael Anthony. RIP.
  20. ETA: Frank hadn’t performed with Elwood and Billy for at least 9 months.
  21. In his initial statement, BFG said that Frank wanted the show to continue.
  22. Such a shame. Aren't they currently on tour? I don't know if this was a sudden thing or whether Frank had been sick. Still, he had a good run, and made it a lot longer than so many of their contemporaries did. Such a solid player, and him and the double kick drums go waaaayyy back.
  23. Holy fug, that is sweet — that could be the deal of 2026 raught there!
  24. Good eye @velorush that is some sweet mahogany.
  25. Rock on forever Boys.
