Nope. It was a new Cali. Mahogany body with a maple cap. It MAY have been a "test" piece, since it didn't have a Custom Order tag, like every single other instrument on the line had.

I just want to thank you for not adding that second humbucker in there. I have been kicking myself a good bit over missing that one the last time it was for sale. All is right in the world again...

That makes sense then, Jon. The one I played had intonation issues, and I very well remember posting something about that. When you said that you played/purchased it and it was fine, that had me puzzled. I recall somebody else mentioning that the bass they played at Rudy's had some issues too after my experience, so who knows? My mind's eye recollection also doesn't remember a lighter board. It appears that maybe there WERE two!

Not sure. I think those strings date back to the Pre-Cambrian...

I think I played that bass years ago on 48th St. Wasn't there something odd with the neck on that one? MC2?

Totally agree - Rosewood wouldn't work with that one. I like it just the way you ordered it. Now if it was a DOUBLE Cali...

It's been fine for me as of Tuesday PM, but it was unavailable for about an hour or two on Monday, and ran slow for a couple of days. Ted flipped me over the DreamHost status update that showed they had been experiencing spot outages and slow response times this week. I'm assuming that things are back up and running normally, as they have been for me on both IE and Chrome.

Ted let me know that DreamHost has been experiencing issues - it should be okay now.

Since Dogfish Head is my hometown brew, and I've been a fan since the first week the brewery/pub was opened, they will get my vote. Their Chickory Stout is still my all-time favorite.

Agreed. Murkat says it best. Any time a seller dumps way too much detail or invokes the fact that they are of a particular faith and therefore should be trusted, I'm out.

That one's come a long way since last fall! Of course, it looked great then too, but is totally over the top now. I'll be working about 15-20 minutes from New Hartford in a couple weeks...will have to squeeze in a quick visit, if at all possible!
