I can add new guy LandonW to my list of met HFCers. We live about 10 miles apart. Displayed my lack of true guitar skills well I thought. Landon is one of them serious guitar players. What I mean by that is he plays original guitar licks in the vein of Al Dimeola and such with vengenge. Mr. Two Finger Chord Guy enjoyed strumming along and watching and listening as he made his Mirage, My Korina Vector, and my Mini Standard sing. Life IS Good! Gotta mention that I hope he doesn't have to take to much heat or sleep in the music room for inviting me over spur of the moment. His lovely wife who was very sweet wasn't to happy about the lil meet and greet with others visiting too. I found out when I got home. He had called about 5 minutes after I left to go out to his place. Have to be especially nice to her next time as she was very nice about it to me and didn't say a word.

Having been to 4321 jams, the Golden Jam in 2006, and an open house at Hamer in 2004 my list of meets is lengthy but I will never forget the Columbus HFCers who came to have lunch with me in 2001 when I came to town and the surprise appearance by Kim Keller will always top my list. DavidE., Cary, Paults, Custom53, and at least two others who's names escape me. Ya'll are brothers for Life! Me and C53 even left there to indulge in a lil G.A.S. fulfillment as I had spied a Hamer import killing time before lunch pawnshopping and went back to get it. Not bad at all for $80.

It's a good guitar. Probably dont play it enough. Torn to add a Tone knob but yet it is Cool enough as is. Good on ya keeping the Z. Love mine. Thanks again for it's Hamer Duncans! What ever became of the Mahogany Standard I sold ya. I know you sold it but did it go to an hfcer?

Having dealt with them in press/photo matters years ago I'd say both. I have a dvd of Philly from the last tour. I have both kicked myself and applauded myself for not going. Missed a good show but didn't give DLR or EVH anymore of my money.
