  2. Nice family shot. Enjoy!!!
  3. Photo history of Crue. Should be Hamer filled or at least a few. Hopefully not TOOOO many busted ones from Nikki.
  4. I own #0189 and James Honeyman-Scott's was #0188. Cool to know 3 in a row and they all look similar as does #0192. Wonder what #0191 looks like and where it is. I have had 10-46s on mine for 25 years. Plays well. No neck issues. Now body binding.....
  5. Happy Happy Birthday Birthday Belated Belated.......
  6. If anything it should have been one like this.... Sammy Columbus, Ohio October '79 I always think of him with an Explorer or his Dean Baby ML. He has always had a Red Les Paul too it seems. Even sang about it... Crank up the drums, Crank up the bass, Crank up my Les Paul in your face......"
  7. Happy ones guys!!!
  8. While Shorty may be 3/4 sized it is 24.75 in scale length. Counts as 1 in my book gents. Or 22.5 Hamer guitars ....
  9. I'm thinking that should be more like 22.75 Hamers... The .5 is the Hamer USA Daytona neck on my Mighty Hamer Daytona Mite. Late 70s Mighty Mite(Wayne Charvel) Explorer body mated with a Daytona neck. Love!
  10. Brief breakdown of my crew of stringed sweeties. 61 guitars 4 basses Project dawgs to Beauty queens. 22.5 Hamer guitars 2 Hamer basses 18 Dean guitars 2 Dean basses 22 "Explorer" bodied guitars 2 "Explorer" bodied basses Life IS Good..... 11. Hoppy Birdie to ya.
  12. That looks like great fun at the time. I thought that was Goober also. Love the way you are ready for the singer to lower his hand to end the tune. "On Point Dawg" as the younguns like to say now a days. Hey Willie ever been here: http://www.rivercityamps.com/electraforum/index.php
  13. $600-$800 US seems to be the prevailing rate. Looks Fantastic along with the smile it's seems to have placed on your mug.
  14. I put a Duncan SH14 Custom Custom in my '96 USA Korina Caddy and it rips. I even got it custom made in Double Cream by having a cover lightly soldered on. Try the originals. You might like it.
  15. I have never gotten a 100% answer but I belive the pickups in those to be Schaller pups. I have found the ones without a Dean logo sound better than ones with a Dean logo. Not bad but worth a try. I'm sure the combo you have is nice although Duncan '59s tend to sound better in Korina. Funny thing is in the other Czech made Deans the upper level models got Duncans. I never understood why they did not put them in the Korina models. Enjoy! Trans Amber has Duncan Antiquities and the Clear has the unlogoed Deans in it.
  16. Great stuff! Wondered when you were gonna post that up. I really dig the two Czech Korina Vs I own. One in clear like your's and one in Trans Amber. I see your's has had a pickup change at least to the neck slot. What's in it? Enjoy! Light aren't they?
  17. Thanks for the unspoken words of kindness.
  18. Welcome. Please feel free to post up any info you care to share about your own Hamers.
  19. 1982 I scored an all original '67 SG P90 Jr. Proceeded to put a Leo Quan wraparound bridge on it, new Grovers, and a Cream Bill Lawrence 500XL in the bridge. All done top notch mind you but GAWD I destroyed an original sooo worth something today. It play SUPERB!!! About 6 months later loaned it to a friend at the time and he took it to Milwaukee with him. 6 months later it was stolen from his apartment. THEN he told me he had had it refinished White too.
  20. I've been convinced since I bought one the day after Poe posted about his experiance. <---Proud owner of 2 Mogami 18 footers and a 3 foot Gold Series cables. Life IS Good!
  21. Hoppy Birdy!
  22. My comment above was fluff. This might be too. With my ears, I hear a certain ring open chords have with a Standard. The old 4 digits really have it. Listen many old recordings with them. Cheap Trick stuff off course, when Rick lets the chords ring out on Surrender, or any of the dvd stuff of Budokan they released a year or so ago. Molly Hatchet had a Hamer ring to my ears also. I would even go so far as to tell you before I saw a No Doubt video I "knew" Tom Dumont was playing a Hamer. That Tone card I post every once in a while works with the Standards even though a Special is pictured on it. Thanks Doc Large!!!! Hollowlead is my favorite. Toggle: Neck, Volumes 10, Tone 0..... YMMV +1........
